of it will be done by dr. Miller including my implant retained bridges, but Dr. Omar Lugo actually performed my entire surgery. Awesome surgeon, my recovery and healing process was painless. That's the only thing that was done right, my surgery, thanks to Dr. Omar Lugo. I had some implants that needed to heal before the abutments could be placed so I return to Cancun three months later according to his care plan. When I arrived to Cancun I was taken to outpatient radiology to do the scan. According to scan he said; everything is perfect, just perfect” we gonna see you tomorrow to place the abutments. The next day some abutments was placed and one trans-nasal left to go. But next day I was contacted by patient coordinator that they didn’t have appropriate abutment for my trans-nasal implant and that my appointment has to be rescheduled as they have to order the abutment. They had 3 months to order my abutments and they couldn’t manage that??? I didn’t like the fact that I had to stay in Cancun for another two weeks but I didn’t have a choice. My husband went home and I stayed. But dr. Miller contacted me and said: "I will finish you up! The next he picked me up from a hotel, numbed me and worked on my implant. At some point he called for more Anastasia. Why?! To my surprise once he was done I set at his desk and he went outside and made a call. When he came back inside he set across from me and said; “here’s your implant, it failed”, and placed the implant in front of me. I was speechless!! I took my implant and went outside, I don’t even remember how did I get back to my hotel or who drove me there. I could not believe what just happened! But I realized why it happened. There was a new patient from Alaska and I was in the way. Therefore, so Called #1 Dr. Miller took my implant out for his own convenience so he can hop on to the next patient!. I don’t even want to go on talking about miller as its not worth my time and I think I told you just enough. Just want to add that he was in the process of changing his clinic name from Neo Dental to “yeah smile”, well according to my experience and my end result, HA! Smile would be more appropriate. Just wanted to make you all aware if you come across that name you know who its. Why do one has the need to change the business name? We all know the answer to that. I also want to say that I was fortunate enough and that I found Top Smile by Dr. Omar Lugo and contacted him and asked for help. Dr. Omar agreed to see me and I went to Cancun October 1st. Dr. Omar and his amazing team of professionals quickly started working on my case that involved tightening some abutments and changing the incorrect ones. They corrected my bite and gave me my smile back. It takes a team of honest and passionate medical professionals who love what they do and actually cares about people in order to accomplish excellent end result. Such a team of dental care can deliver nothing but excellence. And thanks to Dr. Omar and his incredible team, I have my smile back and perfectly functional mouth. According to doctor Miller this couldn’t happen. He said that I have such a small mouth. Hm, if I have such a small mouth how did he mange fit such a big teeth in such a small mouth? Well, dr. Miller I got news for you! Top Smile by Dr. Omar Lugo and his team changed my HA! Smile to a perfect Top Smile. And by doing so they also unleashed my tongue and now I have a big such a mouth!! I feel your anxiety if you're travelling a couple of thousand miles from home to visit one Dr Miller Vieira, Neo Dental, Cancun. Could he be as good as they say? On Instagram I'm still bombarded daily with pitches from dentists “in or near my hometown who are experts in dental implants”. I don't feel good about slagging anybody but I have to say that over 50% of what I read about local dentists/implant specialists was confusing, confused, conflicting and in a few cases untrue. You press a link that purports to lead you to a real world example of those savings in Canadian dollars. I scoured for one, single example of an implant cost and it was a dry hole. The only price tag was with respect to one dental agency that sells consultations at $50 per head. I called the Ontario Dental Association and another umbrella organization representing dental surgeons: friendly but ultimately of no assistance, nor could they recommend dentists. Meanwhile, the estimate I'd received for extraction of the remaining ten teeth in my top arch, done the previous summer, was revised, new x-rays were taken, and, surprise, the cost for extracting my problem teeth had soared to $8300 and that included no installation of posts for future implants. What a relief, that first entry into Dr Miller Vieira's offices, bathed in natural light, with every room (I snooped around) including the washroom (a masterpiece of quiet good taste itself), pristine and clean as the day is long, as is everything at Neo Dental Cancun. The x-ray equipment was more modern than I remembered from home. My first appointment was short and Dr Miller patiently answered all of my questions. I felt good before starting. This man, whose international credentials speak of a love for cosmetic dentistry that began at age-16, has travelled the face of the earth to learn the right stuff. And you can feel it in his hands: a gentle confidence, probably absorbed from his mentors. As a musician I know what that's about, crossing oceans to learn how to make what Ry Cooder calls 'the big note” on one's instrument. You're wondering about crime perhaps? I've driven into northern Mexico and I'd feel uncomfortable getting teeth done in Tijuana, over even an hour south, where music took me. But Cancun was quiet as a mouse. Ahem, unlike my hometown, Ottawa. During the entire time I was away (two visits, six months apart, are required by Dr Vieira to allow for healing) there were three deaths by handguns and one stabbing. All three went down in the eminently safe “Byward Market” area, an Ottawa tourist mecca. Dental standards, from everything I could tell, met or exceeded Canadian hygienic and procedural protocols. In the end, I paid double the cost of what had been estimated for extractions-only in Canada. You heard correctly: for the cost of extractions in Canada, I got them at Neo Dental PLUS a full set of implants in the upper tier/arch and this INCLUDED airfare for me and my wife. Listen, Dr Miller Vieira, please write it down. You'll be ecstatic at the results. Your bank account will wear a smile. You'll look fantastic again and you won't have to sell your house after all! Seriously.

He rebuilt and preserved teeth that another U.S. dentist wanted to extract, and the results already look and feel amazing. What impressed me most was how he focused on saving the bone and rebuilding my teeth rather than extracting them and replacing with implants. The results are remarkable!!!! The precision and care that the staff at YeahSmile put into my procedure was beyond anything I’ve experienced before. The surgery went smoothly, my recovery was managed perfectly, and the team made sure I was comfortable, informed, and never rushed. The entire staff was gentle, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout recovery. They checked on me, kept everything spotless, and made sure my pain was managed properly. I’m still in treatment, and I have a return visit setup to complete the work in April after I heal, but I wanted to share how incredible the surgical part of my experience has been so far.
