e from travellers who have terrible healthcare in their home countries as this was hands down the worst experience at a dentist I have had. Everything started out well. The clinic is quite new and nice. The staff were attentive and got me in same day for a cleaning. It was during the cleaning that everything started to go downhill. Attention to detail was not there, I was repeatedly waterboarded and the cleaning was super rushed- finished in 15 minutes and was not done very well. I asked them to do a checkup (and take X-rays if they needed), and it was then that I was told I would need to come back tomorrow to do some work. They told me I would need some fillings on the exterior of my teeth which I thought may be the case. I wanted to get it all done that day, but apparently having a cleaning and then fillings is a no-go, so I came back the next day. They ushered me in to the chair and told me the cost and if I agreed. I then started asking them to explain what is was that I was having done- because you know, that’s what you do. The owner or clinic director was very obviously annoyed. We went back and forth for some time with me basically begging them for information. I was looking for a simple explanation for what I needed done (the problem), why I needed it done (if there were alternative options) and what the procedure/after care was like. At this point, I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it may be a language barrier, so I started communicating through Google translate only to realize that they didn’t really know proper medical terms for anything. I asked for a time out so I could do my own research before proceeding. After finding the potential issues online, looking up causes and trying to grasp any future preventative measures, I asked the doctors to confirm. Again, the manager stepped in and was talking in circles with no actual answers. Her attitude was just sit down, shut up, and we will do what we need to and you pay us after. I finally decided that after my self diagnosis, I would just go ahead and get the procedure done. Didn’t seem invasive or have any real post procedure health concerns, and I was tired of trying to get any information out of this woman. Again, they fired through in 15 minutes and sent me on my way. Honestly, even a simple filling job was done sloppily. There is now cured composite all over my teeth. If you already know what you need done, you don’t have dental insurance and can’t afford much, this could be the place for you. But If you are looking for customer service (at least the level that matches the reviews), and don’t really know what you need, I do not recommend coming here. It’s literally like pulling teeth to get them to communicate anything to you. There are a handful of other places in the city that come recommended, I wish I had gone somewhere else.
