There were no hidden surprises or last-minute changes, which gave me a lot of confidence. The treatment itself was genuinely pain-free, which was something I was a bit nervous about beforehand. The dentists were extremely skilled and careful, always checking I was comfortable and taking their time to get everything perfect. You can tell they take real pride in their work. The whole experience felt very efficient without ever feeling rushed. Appointments ran on time, everything was well coordinated, and they made what could have been a stressful process feel easy. And the results… I’m genuinely over the moon. The finish is natural, clean, and exactly what I wanted. It’s made a massive difference to my confidence. reassured that everything was fine. When I returned home, my teeth remained extremely sensitive for around six months before settling. I maintained good oral hygiene, and initially, everything seemed okay. However, just 11 months after the crowns were fitted, I began experiencing a very unpleasant taste in my mouth, and some of the teeth started to feel unusual. I was completely shocked and distressed when two teeth fell out I had only touched them because they felt strange, and they came away. In a panic, I used my retainer to hold them in place. As my regular dentist was unavailable, I had to book an emergency appointment with another dentist to have them re-cemented. During that visit, the dentist examined my teeth and told me the work carried out was extremely poor. They said my natural teeth had been shaved down far too much and that the crowns were not properly fitted to my gums. I later saw my own dentist for a full check-up. After showing them photos of my prepared teeth, they were shocked by how much had been removed and the crowns had been very badly fitted, with noticeable gaps between the crowns and the gums. They said that due to the shaved teeth being so small they would need to do 19 root canals, build on the tooth so the crown cement can hold, as you can imagine how expensive that would be £2k per tooth They explained that these gaps could be causing the bad taste, likely due to bacteria buildup or issues with the cement used. I now have other teeth that don’t feel secure, and I’m genuinely afraid to eat or even touch them in case they fall out as well. I have contacted Villa Lara, and they have offered for me to return. However, after this experience, I have no confidence in going back and risking further trauma or another set of poorly fitted crowns. Of course they mentioned that the they maintain safe and healthy limited for tooth size but I believe this to be untrue. I deeply regret having this treatment done and would strongly advise others against getting dental work abroad not just at this clinic, but anywhere. I will now need to spend thousands of pounds in the UK to correct the damage and regain comfort and confidence, as well as peace of mind. It’s very disturbing to see on Trust Pilot they have a warning and the company’s rating is unavailable due to a breach of guidelines, I’m guessing it’s fake reviews.
