Affordable dentist in Ubud? Carla Dental is the answer! The doctors and nurses are friendly, informative, and interactive with patients. The service is good and patient. The place is relatively small, but it's proper and very clean. Motorcycle parking is also available. I'm sure I'll come back to try other treatments.

I had an appointment at Carla Dental in Ubud in August 2025 after one of my fillings fell out. The visit was quick and efficient, which at the time made me slightly curious, but I didn’t question it further. I had a tooth treated. A complicated one, the last one. I was so scared. In the end, they did it in a matter of minutes, so professionally and quickly. I still tell everyone that I had my tooth treated in Ubud, and it was better than back home. Thank you. I'm going again today. I broke my front tooth. I highly recommend it to everyone. 👌🏻🙌🏻👍💪

A great experience at Carla Ubud Dental. I had the best clean I have ever had as the dentist was so gentle. This was combined with the teeth whitening which I have never had before, the results are amazing, Matching so well with my veneers. I highly recommend and will definitely be back for more dental work.

It seems that real professionals work here — true professionals. In other clinics, they wanted to pull out my tooth and gave me the wrong diagnosis. But in this dental clinic, they found that it was not necessary after all and treated it instead. Thank you to this clinic — you are amazing.

This place seemed great at first. Good ratings, clean space in front. I got in earlier than my appointment time with no waiting at all. They have clean water in the waiting room which was nice. When taken to the room I was a little thrown by the dirty couch and equipment that has finger print marks on it. Twice I expected the dentist to change gloves after touching something but he did not. I booked for a teeth whitening session which came with a “free teeth cleaning”. I am disappointed. While the main area of most of my teeth are clean and definitely whiter than before- I still have tartar and yellow spots on the edges and in between my teeth. I’d rather have one color teeth than spoofed teeth. This is not something I’ve ever had when doing cleanings or whitening treatments in other countries. When I asked him to fix it he said it’s because it’s under the gum (?). He tried fixing despite not understanding what I was saying and sprayed water all over my face. Still not fixed. Round 3 of pointing out the yellow and asking for a remedy and then being waterboarded he and the assistant started laughing at me. When I asked why they said they weren’t laughing. I tried to explain the situation again and again they laughed. The online prices are incorrect. It’s $3M for mediocre whitening and cleaning service with a side of gaslighting. Try somewhere else. I’m going home to brush my teeth.

In this case, yellowish areas near the cervical (gum-line) region are part of the natural tooth structure. For this reason, applying whitening gel in these areas is often not recommended, as it may lead to increased sensitivity or discomfort due to their proximity to the dental pulp. We also take your comments regarding communication and in-clinic interaction very seriously. Respectful and clear communication is a priority for us, and we will review this internally with our team to ensure every patient feels comfortable and well-informed during their visit.
