charge these days, we had heard from friends and family to go to Los Algodones so I stated investigating, took me a couple weeks to find who I thought would be best and we made our first appointment with Smile Makers Group, they took X-rays and told us the plan, and we were shown the films and I was shocked, as I saw and was told he would only need one sinus lift, we were told by the dentist in Grants Pass he’d need two, it was very obvious that was not the case, so the dentist in Oregon was a liar too, not happy. I was happy about the way Dr Paola Duque DDS and explained everything, and we approved her plan. We had the first part done putting the implants in the sinus lift and we’d make appointments in about 6 months so the implants were solid. So 21 of August we came back, and the second part of the implants began. Which was virtually pain free, he was tender after the first part 6 months ago because he had teeth removed and then 8 implants, but didn’t need more than ibuprofen. This second part you need to be prepared to stay a week, we had come while the hurricane hit, and everything was without power for a day, but on Friday they stayed late and got it all fitted and polished and my husband has his smile back, he is so excited like a little kid, I’m so happy, I also had one implant and a root canal and crown, and couldn’t be happier, thanks to Dr Carlos Marquez DDS, and of coarse Antonio (Pollo), Mary, Abigail, and Karyna, we were picked up at the gate and brought back because I have bad COPD, thank you so much, but I had to write this to thank these guys for renewing my faith in a Dentist that actually cares and is so good at their work. Everything is so clean so modern such a friendly staff, I’ll recommend them to all my friends and family and we’ll happily drive the 1100 mile trip from our home in Oregon to here for any and all our dental needs. Thank you ! You guys are awesome.

They truly make you feel like home . I have always been terrified of the dentist and he made me super comfortable. It was truly a pain free process thanks to him. It is well worth the slightly higher cost for the confidence of results you will find impressive once this process is complete. Also the follow up and concern post visit is yet again showing their level of standard.

I always knew what was happening, why it was being done, and what to expect next, which made a complex, multi-step process feel manageable. For the most challenging part of the first visit, I opted to use their anesthesiologist, who quite literally knocked me out for the hardest part of the procedure. That made a huge difference in comfort and reinforced how seriously they take patient safety, pain management, and overall care. The clinical work itself was excellent. The team was organized, precise, and clearly experienced with advanced dental procedures. They took real pride in their work, and that showed in both the process and the results. All of this was done for about 25% of what the same treatment would have cost in the United States, without any sense that quality or attention was compromised. If anything, the care felt more personal and more attentive than what I’ve experienced elsewhere. I would recommend Smile Makers Group without hesitation to anyone considering implants or major dental work in Los Algodones. I’m extremely pleased with both the experience and the outcome.
