Smile Loft Victory Monument is a busy local Bangkok branch that serves Thai patients well, particularly those using gold card and social security benefits, with consistent praise for orthodontics and routine care. It is not set up for dental tourists: there is no dedicated website, no English content, no published cash pricing, and one detailed orthodontic complaint suggests outcome variability for complex cases.

Authenticity

6/10

Active branch with public Facebook presence, 236 Google reviews averaging 4.86, and consistent local patient testimonials over multiple years; no dedicated standalone website.

Treatment quality

7/10

Reviews focus on routine work, scaling, fillings, and orthodontics with broad satisfaction; one detailed 1-star ortho complaint reports five months of unsatisfactory progress.

Cleanliness

7/10

Several reviewers describe the clinic as clean and comfortable; no hygiene complaints in the 50 reviews read.

Team

5/10

Dentists referred to only by first nicknames such as Dr. Mo, Dr. Off, Dr. May, Dr. Earth, Dr. Niramon, Dr. Kaimook, with no published full names, qualifications, or specialist credentials.

Price value

7/10

Heavy use of Thai gold card and 30-baht universal coverage; cash prices are not published, which limits transparency for self-pay foreign patients.

Tourist suitability

3/10

No website, Facebook page is Thai-only, no English content, no airport transfer, no international coordinator, and the patient base is overwhelmingly local insurance users.

What comes up well

  • 236 Google reviews averaging 4.86 with strong local loyalty
  • Multiple named orthodontists trusted by repeat patients
  • Convenient Victory Monument location with BTS access

Points to weigh

  • No standalone website, only Facebook page in Thai
  • Dentists listed only by first nicknames, no qualifications
  • Detailed 1-star review reports unsatisfactory orthodontic progress at 5 months

of these five procedures up to three times per year. I recently had a filling and scaling done at the Century Monument branch and was very impressed. There are plenty of waiting chairs with charging outlets, the clinic is very clean, and has a pleasant aroma to welcome patients. The staff are all kind, cheerful, and have a gentle, polite, and courteous attitude. The dentists are gentle, patient, and impeccably skilled. This is a clinic you'll be delighted to visit. Not only is there no hidden cost, but the service is also fast, and you'll leave with a bright, cheerful smile – living up to the clinic's name.

Hello, we are very disappointed with this clinic. We came specifically to have dental work done here. We contacted the clinic via Facebook and scheduled an appointment for Thursday, February 13th, at 11:40 AM. We arrived about 10 minutes late, but we contacted the clinic via chat to let them know. At the counter, we registered and informed them that we would be using our government health…

insurance card for teeth cleaning (free) and tooth extraction (the innermost tooth). The staff said that wisdom tooth extraction was not covered by the insurance and we would have to pay an additional 2,000-3,000 baht, plus an additional 200 baht for an X-ray to examine the tooth root and for the doctor to assess the condition. We agreed as usual. After the X-ray, we went in to see the doctor (a female doctor). The doctor examined our teeth and started with teeth cleaning. After that, it was time for the wisdom tooth extraction, which took over an hour. The female doctor was unable to extract the tooth and said that another doctor would be available. We don't know if it was the doctor's voice or the assistant's because our eyes were covered and our mouth was open... We said okay, but inwardly we were getting scared, although we thought the other doctor would surely be able to do it. Another doctor came in and greeted us (a male voice). So, it was a male doctor, and it took another hour or so, and they couldn't finish the procedure. We were very shocked because today (this was the second doctor who had extracted my tooth). The doctor told us that another doctor had to do it because the tooth root was very long. It needed to be done by a surgical specialist, which meant we had to wait until tomorrow, Friday, for one night, and then come back to the clinic to have it extracted again the next day. Wouldn't I be sore from yesterday's extraction? I thought to myself, "Is that even possible...?" I didn't know what to say because I was opening and closing my mouth. My mouth was sore, my lips were scraped. I could only reply, "Um... yes." I can't describe how I felt at that moment. I was shocked and surprised, I didn't know what to do about what had happened. I was very upset because it hurt so much. I was completely disoriented. The doctor stitched the wound closed and told us to come back on Friday. (I want to emphasize that I was in a lot of pain and very disoriented.) When we came out, I talked to the counter staff and said... "Is there no surgeon today?" They said the doctor wasn't in today and told me to come back tomorrow, Friday, February 14th, at 1:30 PM. They gave me a packet of painkillers (ibuprofen), a pack of gauze, and charged me 1,050 baht for today's treatment. They said I could pay the rest tomorrow... I agreed to pay because I didn't want to stay in the clinic anymore; I felt faint and extremely disappointed. I paid in cash, and the counter staff didn't give me a receipt. I walked out of the clinic feeling confused and disoriented about what had happened.

Today I took my younger sibling to have one wisdom tooth extracted and another wisdom tooth surgically removed. Dr. Suphakit was very gentle; my sibling said it didn't hurt at all. The doctor was also very kind.
