I've always been afraid of dentists, but after a short conversation with the doctor, I felt calm and relaxed. She was gentle, explained everything well, and didn't push me to do anything.
I had a terrible dental cleaning experience. The dentist inserted a mouth guard, and afterward my gums stayed inflamed for two weeks. I even developed a sore that looked like a cold sore. I’m almost 40, and this has never happened to me before. To make things worse, it was very expensive.

Hello Mrs. Zlivka, thank you for your review. We are very sorry that you developed herpes after dental hygiene. But as a healthcare professional, you certainly understand that this is not the fault of the doctor or the clinic. Herpes can appear after any dental procedure. The causes of its occurrence are mainly: - herpes simplex virus, which is in a "dormant" form in most people; - microtraumas of the mucous membrane and lips; - stress and weakened immunity. In no case is the cause of herpes caused by improperly performed dental hygiene. At our clinic, we perform comprehensive dental hygiene using optragate (for isolating the lips), which allows us to perform the procedure as qualitatively as possible. If you have developed inflammation, it may be related to an allergy to optragate or to one of the components of the powder used in dental hygiene. Unfortunately, after such a long time (a year and a half since the procedure), we are no longer able to determine the exact cause. However, next time, please contact us immediately after the procedure - we will be happy to prescribe a soothing gum gel to help you feel better as soon as possible.
Above-standard approach. My daughter had a problem with a protruding slide on her left side. The doctor took us out of line as an emergency. It was a minute before closing time. He gave us an hour of time, examination, consultation, advice with specialist outpatient clinics. Maximum human approach and help. The most honest dentist I have ever met. I am an American and I was in Bratislava with awful tooth pain from a bad root canal (done in Mexico) and I saw the Dentist and told him "pull it out" ... it would have been 150 - 200 Euros to pull it out and it would have taken him no time. Instead, he took an x-ray and told me that's a bad choice -- even though he knew I was leaving the next day. He…

explained that extraction is just kicking the problem down the road ... he spent an hour with me, refused (in the nicest way possible) to do the extraction, took the x-ray, sent me a long, long email that I am to use for the next dentist I see, gave me a prescription ... all for 25 Euros. This is a great person and a good dentist - see him if you are lucky enough to get in!

Dr Shvets is a very good and humane doctor, he solves difficult cases that other doctors cannot solve or do not want to deal with. Dr Shvets has one main goal - to help the patient. He helped me a lot. I recommend him from the bottom of my heart.
