I've been a patient at Salud Oral Familiar for many years, with excellent results and superb care. The facilities are spotless and very beautiful, and the entire staff is very professional. They pamper you and make sure you feel comfortable, calm, and pain-free. ☺️

patient but has also impacted my work and personal commitments, given that these appointments involve more than an hour in duration, the use of anesthesia, management of postoperative symptoms, and complex clinical procedures such as open surgery or procedures requiring sutures. From the outset, I clearly and explicitly requested an evaluation by a periodontist, a request that was granted. Following this evaluation—which was supported by medical and technical evidence—I was inexplicably scheduled for a second evaluation with a general dentist. This demonstrates a lack of listening, disinterest, and a lack of understanding of the treating specialist's professional and clinical hierarchy, as well as a complete disregard for the patient's time, professional judgment, and continuity of care. Furthermore, a second intervention was left pending in the authorized procedure (open root planing), which had been scheduled months in advance and confirmed multiple times through various means (phone calls, text messages, and email). During this entire period, I was never asked or informed of the need to renew diagnostic studies, such as radiological imaging. It is unacceptable that the institution's professional team intends to leave the decision regarding the necessity of such tests to the patient's discretion or technical understanding, especially since these tests were neither ordered, requested, nor recorded in the medical record, much less mentioned in the treatment plan. Finally, as further evidence of the disrespect shown to the patient, I was explicitly asked to move up my appointment time, even though I was given advance notice. Despite this, I still had to wait over an hour without any justification. What is most serious is that only then was I informed of the supposed need for diagnostic imaging that had never been ordered, canceling the procedure without any documented technical or professional justification. This entire situation reflects not only an alarming lack of professionalism and clinical coordination, but also a worrying absence of ethics and consideration for patients, who deserve serious, respectful care based on sound medical criteria, not on administrative improvisations or assumptions. I request that immediate corrective measures be taken regarding this situation, as well as a formal written response with the corresponding explanations for the events described, and a critical review of the internal processes for patient care, clinical follow-up, and communication with patients.
