The best dental experience I've ever had. Everyone there was very nice, gental and really cared about my comfort. They even came in on a Saturday (not usually open) to get my work done because I was flying out on Sunday. My dentist was a Boston University graduate and everyone spoke English. max benefit a year in insurance is $1000. So paying all the US dental fees for crowns, bridges, fillings and such was a long term commitment. I had not planned on getting Prisma Dental to do anything for me. I had already had a bridge scheduled to be installed the week after I got back from taking my mom to Prisma Dental. So I felt I had my dental work plan covered in the US, albeit expensive. Prior to going down, there were many zoom call meetings, emails, and text making sure everything was ready to go and understood before arriving in Costa Rica. They helped us arrange everything, including transportation and hotel arrangements. The trip went smooth and we got settled in a nice hotel. When we got to the Prisma Dental Office we were warmly welcomed. The office looked clean and professional. Prior to them taking my mom back to start working on her teeth that took both of us around their facility. I always though one of the reasons for our high cost of health care in the US was because of our the high standards and use of highly technically advanced equipment for patient care. Walking around Prisma Dental, I had a true awakening of how I was so wrong. Prisma Dental had more advanced, newer, and cleaner equipment than what my high priced US dentist was using. After the tour, they took my mom back and started working with her. They also asked me if I had any dental needs. I began telling Dr Rubinstein about my dental plan and she offered to give me a second opinion. After the examination, she offered to give me a quote. I told her sure go ahead. I was thinking it would come back about $10,000 or more. Her quote was not even close to that amount. She quoted me $3,000 to do all that my US dentist told me would take $15, 000, which was a reduced price. Needless to say when Dr Rubinstein told me the fee and showed me the breakdown, I was stunned. I told her I wanted to proceed with her care. Over the next few days she worked on my teeth. She was always present and her nursing assistants were also amazing. Its like I had one person with 4 hands working on my teeth. They were flawless in the care. They all were kind, happy, and you felt that they wanted to be there, and that taking care of me mattered to them. The decision to let Prisma Dental work on my teeth was not just because of the price but also because their professionalism, the engaged Doctors and staff, the cleanliness, and the advanced equipment all added up to the best medical treatment I have ever received in my decades in the US. By the way, when I got back to the US and had my dentist team install my bridge that I paid $5000 for, she did not even noticed all the work I had done the week before. She told me to comeback soon to get the rest of the work completed. HAHAHA. Her lack of care ensured that from now on my dentist is Prisma Dental. Thank you so much Dr Telma Rubinstein. You and your team are awesome. I will see you in May 2025 for follow-up and I may be bringing my brother and son with us. Thank you so much Prisma Dental for restoring my faith in a reasonable professional medical treatment.

I took my 93 year old mother from the US down to get her teeth removed and full dentures. She could not have been treated with more kindness and professionalism! Her teeth fit perfectly and she ate the next day without a problem. We are going back with the rest of our family this spring!

me up at the airport. The work was completed in their office between December 2, 2024 and December 6, 2024, and I could not be more pleased with the results. Every member of the staff was excellent and professional. The dentist who was my primary contact and did the majority of the dental work was Dr. Nadine Cordero. Her work is excellent and she took the time necessary to make sure everything was perfect. And it is! I had a family member who similar work done in the United States and the cost was about 5 times higher than what I paid, even after considering the flight and hotel. I was glad to find Prisma and comfortable with the decision to go there because of the experiences of several friends. I saved a substantial amount of money, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing dental work.
Personally I've never like going to the dentist. I don't think anyone really does to be honest. But Prisma Dental is a unique and caring place.
