Dr. Juan Pablo is incredibly kind. He has helped me tremendously throughout my process. I highly recommend him. I had very bad experiences with other maxillofacial surgeons, but with him, I've felt wonderful. I'm so grateful.

he instilled a sense of security, making it clear that the procedure isn't as bad or as painful as some of the experiences I've heard about. y you should or shouldn't have your wisdom teeth removed, the post-operative care, they debunk many myths surrounding wisdom tooth extraction, and they answer all your questions during the consultation. Finally, they give you a quote for the procedure based on your specific case, and then you decide whether or not to have the procedure done with them. In my case, it was to remove three (3) wisdom teeth at the same time, the two upper ones being complicated according to what the surgeon explained to me. But with complete confidence and certainty, I decided to have the surgery at the Oral Country clinic with Dr. Juan Pablo Mejía, to whom I am immensely grateful for the excellent work he did on my case. Once your surgery is scheduled, you must be accompanied on the day of the procedure, and you must be fasting (if you are under sedation). You cannot drive after the procedure. You should wear comfortable clothing and bring a blanket. =) In my case, I chose the sedation option, which costs a little more, but I highly recommend it. You are supervised throughout the entire procedure by an anesthesiologist in addition to the surgeon's team, all of whom are very professional. In short, you don't feel any pain. It's the best option available. You simply arrive, go to the anesthesiologist's office, they take your medical history, administer the medication, and you're in a sort of midday nap—not completely asleep, but in a pleasant state of rest. When you fully wake up, you've already had the surgery. They give you an ice cream for the swelling =) and the prescription with the medications and post-operative care instructions. The service was excellent overall. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to family and friends. I highly recommend it. They have an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified professionals who treat you very, very well. My experience was rewarding; it's worth the price, which I didn't find that expensive considering the service you receive. Seven to eight days after surgery, you have a follow-up appointment to have your stitches removed, at no extra cost. They assess your progress, and you don't feel a thing. If you're terrified of wisdom teeth and come to this clinic, believe me, you'll leave completely grateful and satisfied with the great service they provide. Highly recommended. Our experience with our daughter was fantastic. From the moment we entered the clinic, we felt the warmth and empathy of the entire staff. I had the most intense and horrible wisdom tooth pain of my life. I didn't have my wisdom teeth removed in my teens, and the extraction was complex. Dr. Juan Pablo and his entire team helped me and provided the best solution with the correct procedure (coronectomy). The clinic and staff are 10/10.
