by another doctor, and my self-confidence suffered greatly, I decided to have my arms and breasts operated on simultaneously by Dr. Tekin. The surgeries take place in a private clinic in Antalya, where you also stay for the first few days after the procedure. After all the preliminary examinations, Dr. Tekin came to discuss the surgical methods and all my questions, concerns, and fears. From the very first moment, I felt I was in professional and safe hands. I should mention that I am a patient with anxiety and undertook this journey alone. In other words, my fears and concerns were truly enormous. From the very first second, I received excellent care, was fully informed about all the risks, treated with empathy, and was never left without professional help or answers. Questions were welcome at any time. Even the aftercare was more than exceptional. At every follow-up appointment, I was personally seen and treated by Dr. Tekin. My appointments were scheduled relatively frequently, which I was more than happy about, because with an upper arm lift, the incision extends into the armpits – a very sensitive area because sweating and bacteria can easily lead to inflammation and other complications. At that time, the outside temperature in Antalya was between 32°C and 42°C. Since, as mentioned, I was there alone, I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Tekin and his team for the superb care and continuous treatment. Such care is unthinkable in Germany. At least personally, I have never experienced such comprehensive, careful, and conscientious aftercare, let alone thorough and hygienic wound care, in Germany following surgery (neither in public nor private hospitals). Now to the most important point – the results. Dr. Tekin simply has magic hands and an absolute eye for aesthetics. Even during the initial consultation and planning session, my gut feeling told me I wouldn't regret it; this team knows exactly what they're doing. And what can I say?! I am exactly 12 days post-operatively and I am simply incredibly happy. At first, I was scared because right after my first breast lift (done elsewhere), I woke up already disappointed. The result had nothing to do with what I had hoped for. But with Dr. Tekin, everything was different. I woke up, and even in a state of extreme swelling, my breasts finally felt symmetrical and correctly positioned. During the first surgery, the implants were unfortunately placed in front of the muscle instead of behind it. This caused the skin to stretch again more quickly, and the implants were shiftable in all directions. Additionally, a significant amount of my own tissue was removed from one breast, resulting in one being larger than the other. To be honest, my existing chest piercings further complicated matters. All these factors combined made the procedure considerably more difficult and time-consuming than usual. Dr. Tekin took on my case, the surgery went smoothly, and my medication was always readily available. Most importantly, my individual pain tolerance was taken into account, and my care was adjusted accordingly. Yes, the recovery process is still a long one, but I am already more than happy and satisfied. The wounds/scars are clean and fine, and the pain is manageable. I would definitely choose Dr. Tekin for treatment again.
