My sister and I visited Maltepe dental clinic in November of 2024. My sister was supposed to get all on 4 because they said that that was all she could have because she had bone loss but when we got there they said that getting one or two extra would be a good thing in case one failed. trying to get an itemized bill from them and we never got one that seemed to explain the prices we were charged. Long story short, get an itemized bill before they touch you. The bridges themselves? The bottom bridge had a chunk fall off within two hours of having them placed so we had to have that one removed and redone and we wanted the top bridge redone as well but they couldn’t remove it after almost two hours of trying to and they said they would have to cut it off so we were stuck with it because we were leaving the next day. Her dentist is actually on the youtube videos for Maltepe and she seemed very nice until things started to go wrong. On our last visit she insisted that we get to the clinic as soon as it opened but we sat there and waited and waited and waited until 8 p.m. and then she filled in the screw holes that attach the bridge to the jaw. It took two minutes. Literally. Two minutes. 24 hours later, whatever she used to fill the holes had dissolved. I will let you decide if these two things were intentional. They did agree to pay to have that fixed but I don’t think that offering to pay to fix it makes it any better. Anyway that was our experience, I hope it helps you make an informed decision. Regarding the response from Maltepe dental clinic. Your claim that "transparency is a core value at our clinic" and that "you have a signed copy of an itemized bill from my sister" That is total BS! If you have a signed copy of anything it was after the fact! I have at least 10 messages and emails asking for an itemized bill that you refused to provide until you the second to the last day we were there and I refused to let it go. If you had provided the itemized bill I would not have had to repeatedly ask for it over 3 plus months. I have to say that my feeling at the time was that you took the number you had given us and divided it up in a way to make it look plausible. ALSO, your claim that "The composite bonding used to cover the occlusal screw access points is a standard" is also BS! Your dentist used something that dissolved in less than 48 hours! Don't try to pass it off as standard! You don't even address the fact that one of her bridges had chunks coming off before the work was even done! Also, your response - "If your sister needs any further assistance, she is always welcome to return to our clinic so we can address any remaining concerns" We wouldn't go back to you for help if we were on fire and you had the only bucket of water in 100 miles!

While it is unfortunate that your sister experienced issues, such occurrences, though rare, can happen. In these cases, we take full responsibility and provide support as per our guarantee policy. The composite bonding used to cover the occlusal screw access points is a standard, clinically preferred approach for long-term implant success. While it does not affect functionality, we understand how frustrating this must have been, and we immediately offered assistance. We regret that this situation caused frustration during your visit. My first trial service was a teeth cleaning, recommended by a friend at the clinic. I had gotten implants done in the back of my mouth and I wasn’t in any pain at all. A little discomfort but no pain. Second visit, my implant Dr. was the best. Still no pain. Then they sent me upstairs to a female Veener Dr. I remember her drilling and drilling and drilling in my mouth and I wasn’t as comfortable as I was with the implant Dr. I remember trying to tell her with hand signals, mourning gestures to inform her that I was in pain and was being ignored by her telling me: Almost done, almost done! I was crying leaving there. Complained to my consultant and he did something about it. I refused to return to that Dr again. A few days later, I returned to an apology, same female Dr., less pain and felt more comfortable. After all this was done I walked out of there to a million dollar smile and can’t stop smiling. Back home in the United States everyone that I know is asking me questions about my smile and I’m not ashame to tell them who’s responsible for that. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know. Thank you Maltepe Dental Clinic Thank you for bringing back the old me and giving me back the smile I use to have before having children.

I was quoted $76,000 AUD to have this work in Australia. At Maltepe, it was just under $10,000 AUD. I originally went thinking I was going to end up with crowns, but the amazing dentist was able to do veneers instead. The shape matches my natural teeth and the bite is spot on. the dentist who inserted the original implant in India, at an odd angle. I flew back to Turkey to have this repaired as I had dental tourism insurance which covered flights and accommodation. Maltepe seen me straight away, made a new crown and fitted it, free of charge.10/10 recommend Maltepe. Their work is to a high standard and my Australian dentist commented during a routine clean last month on how well the bite and how good the quality was. Excellent service, excellent people and excellent price. You will not regret and Istanbul is one of the world's most beautiful cities!
