ago under a previous Argentinian dentist. I paid for and received five dental implants, with the understanding I would return for the crowns. Life delayed my return, and when I tried to contact them, I found their phone number changed and the original dentist gone, now ran by a foreign female dentist named Ivonne. . During a recent consultation to finish the procedure, I mistakenly said I had four implants. The new dentist performed an exam and recommended installing a fifth implant in a spot where I already had one in addition to the crowns, and claimed another needed a costly redo. She quoted nearly $6,000 USD for this unnecessary work. When I declined the work, not even a cleaning, she sprung a surprise 900 peso "exam fee" on me. Later after getting a 2nd opinion, I understood why she refused to give me my X-rays and said her quote was "good for one month only, she knew if I had the X-rays, it would prove I already had the fifth implant. My warning to consumers: Verify Everything:Get all quotes, treatment plans, and your X-rays in writing before paying anything. Beware of Pressure:The "one-month quote" and surprise fees are pressure tactics. Second Opinions are Crucial:Always get a second opinion for major procedures, especially if a clinic's ownership and or dentists changes. This is not about a simple misunderstanding. It is a pattern of obscuring facts, denying patients their own medical records, and recommending costly, unnecessary procedures. I advise everyone to avoid this clinic at all costs. *****Americans and Canadians, avoid this place like the plague. ***** This place charged me 900 pesos for a consultation only; that really bothered me They quoted me approximately $2,000 for eight fillings and a deep cleaning. They even wanted to redo my three-year-old fillings, while other clinics confirmed they were in perfect condition. Furthermore, there was no need for an expensive deep cleaning; a basic cleaning would have sufficed. In addition, she refused to provide me with the x-rays after charging me for the simple consultation, which clearly showed I had five implants instead of four. I couldn't remember, so I told her I'd had four extractions and four implants, when she had the records from three years prior with the Argentinian dentist. She clearly saw in the x-rays and records that I had five, so she insisted I needed a fifth implant. She also mentioned that one of my implants had sunk. Instead of saying the previous dentist had placed it too close to my nose, she claimed the implant wouldn't hold and that I would need a bone graft. How ridiculous! I already have all five. Zirconia abutments and crowns were placed by another well-established clinic in Mexico, which has top reviews on Trustpilot. It was all a lie to overcharge. This Roma Dental clinic is completely dishonest and its behavior is clearly criminal. I have all the documents, photos, and screenshots of the original documents to support my claims.
I wanted them to fix a loose bracket in my braces. They couldn't give me any information about the price upfront. Once I got there, they told me they had to do a dental exam first. "For the protocol." That's why they wanted to charge me 1600 pesos. No, thank you. Just be upfront and you'll save us all the trouble.
I am from the US and travel internationally for dental care. My experience at La Clinica Dental in Colonia Roma was one of the best I have ever had. Dr. Villanueva was fluent in English and able to explain my dental options clearly (I speak no Spanish). I had 2 fillings and a dental guard done and experienced zero discomfort. I was able to get a last-minute emergency appointment for a tooth ache. The service was impeccable, and the doctor took very good care and explained everything to me very clearly. The equipment is very up-to-date as well. I recommend this clinic without hesitation. Thank you very much for the help today.

Upon learning about La Clínica Dental (Colonia Roma, Mexico City), I didn't hesitate to visit for a dental evaluation. Their dentist performed a comprehensive treatment assessment, outlining the next steps. I began with an extraction of my upper right premolar, and we will continue until the entire treatment is complete.

t luxurious, but they are comfortable and functional, which also contributes to a more peaceful experience. My experience with Alfonso Galguera has been very positive. From the first moment, he understood my nervousness and handled it with great sensitivity, helping me relax and feel safe. During each session, he was extremely careful and attentive; I felt supported and well cared for at all times. I am completely comfortable with him and would definitely return again and again for treatment. In addition, I love that they have a completely digital appointment system, as it makes it very easy for me to organize my appointments. I think the prices are above average, but in my case it has been worth it.
