in New York, coupled with their great customer service when we initially contacted them (Vivianne!), we settled on Kriebel. My husband had his work done first, and was really happy with the results. At my initial consultation Dr. Kriebel recommended three implants, a bridge and a number of crowns. He also encouraged me to crown the rest of my teeth so they would all match. I had never considered cosmetic dentistry, and was very concerned about my teeth looking fake and too white, but Dr. Kriebel assured me he’d had plenty of experience with this type of work and could achieve results as natural as I would like! In December I began stage 1 of the implants, then returned to Costa Rica in May for three weeks, which was long enough to work out a schedule that gave my mouth and body plenty of time to rest. At the same time, it was a pretty aggressive schedule as there was a lot to do and we also wanted to leave enough time at the end of every session for any potential complications - of which there were none! When I wasn’t at the dentist I spent time at my house in the country, which was a great way to regroup. I took minimal pain meds, and sometimes none. The worst part about all of the treatment was the temporary teeth I had to wear! They actually looked and felt ok, but after a while I was just dying to get my real ones in. When it came time to choose the color for the crowns, I loved it that Dr Kriebel listened to what I wanted and helped me choose a shade that was obviously a lot brighter than my previous teeth, but also natural. I was really happy to hear he did not like a fake, too polished look either. He worked with the lab extensively to make sure the shape and size matched my original teeth and went totally above and beyond, working on the weekend, to make minute adjustments that made all the difference to the final look and feel. He really treated my teeth with great artistry and care and was so proud of his work. At one point he brought in his dad, who started the business, to show him what he’d done. There was also a woman visiting the office one day who he wanted to proudly show - she was a pioneer in Costa Rican dentistry and I was happy to model my teeth! Since I’ve been back in New York I’ve received so many compliments, including some from skeptical people who thought it was crazy to go all the way to another country to get this done. My main goal with my appearance is to look healthy and strong and so to me, the biggest compliment of all has been when people tell me how healthy my teeth look, or, as one friend put it, “you look like you’ve been naturally blessed with great teeth”. The entire cost was about ⅓ of what I’d been quoted in the States. The staff are all lovely and great at their jobs. The receptionist is very welcoming and has worked for the family business for many years, which I think says a lot. The offices are super clean with a great view overlooking the mountains and the park. It’s easy to get to and there is a safe, private parking garage. The nearby restaurants are great and the pharmacy is round the corner, although Kriebel will give you pain meds there and then. Dr. Kriebel speaks perfect English and always made me feel comfortable, relaxed and in completely safe and skilled hands. We’ve now decided to have him as our dentist and can’t thank him and the practice enough for all the care and attention they have given us!

sound is “crispy” :-) His Facial Oral Surgeon, Dr Andrea and his Endodontist, Dr. Ana, all performed their craft in his beautiful modern office with excellent protocols and extreme efficiency. (This would have taken much more time and effort in the US). I am very happy with their work!

No long waits in the waiting room or chair while he juggled other patients. His English is perfect and reflects his U.S. training where he was chief resident and taught dental students.Vivian arranged transportation from the airport to a great hotel where Dr. Kriebel has an amazing discount. I was able to walk a short distance to and from his office in a very safe area surrounded by some amazing restaurants, the Art Museum and a beautiful park. She arranged a driver to the cloud forest and other outings. My wife will be flying down for dental work and will never have work done by another dentist. Dr. Ronald W. Powell

in booking hotel etc... Soooo, two months ago I went back for a checkup and to see a friend that I met there during my treatment. For me there were no problems. He cared so much he did some extra work and didn't charge me a penny. I really felt guilty leaving my checkup without paying but it told me the true character of the Dr. As I said. I really got lucky and highly recommend Kriebel for any dental work. No other person will work on my teeth except him. I have no problems with anyone contacting me with questions. My name is Dale Lynn and I live in North Carolina. One other thing.... I'm 56 years old. The staff and Dr Kriebel helped me with my shade and it is spot on. I would have done unrealistic bright white but I now smile to my ears with a realistic new set of teeth or as we sometimes say in NC.. My new Grill

She was so meticulous and careful, I felt like a member of her own family would not have received better care than what I experienced. Her warm and engaging manner, coupled with her expertise, made a typically daunting dental procedure remarkably pleasant. Additionally, her thoughtful tourist recommendations greatly enhanced my family’s stay in Costa Rica. Dr. Mariano Kriebel's expertise in prosthodontics was equally impressive and really shone through in his work. Plus he was kind enough to come in on a Saturday afternoon to place three crowns that completed my dental work for this trip. Both he and Dr. Perez went above and beyond to accommodate my tight schedule, which was a huge help and allowed me and my family ample time to enjoy our Costa Rican vacation. Another aspect I appreciated was the transparency in their pricing. There were no hidden costs and everything was clear from the start. This matched my initial research and expectations. The cost-effectiveness of their services was a major plus, and contributed greatly to our family vacation budget. I wholeheartedly recommend Kriebel Dental to anyone seeking top-notch dental care.
