Overall score
Bach Mai Hospital Dental Department is a legitimate government hospital unit within one of Vietnam's largest public hospitals, staffed by 13 named specialists including a PhD head of department and an associate professor. While the clinical team is strong and pricing is very low, this department has no infrastructure for dental tourists: no English-language booking, no coordinator, no tourist logistics, and is oriented entirely toward Vietnamese domestic patients.

The doctors and nurses here are very dedicated to helping patients and get along well with everyone. It's not a perfect 100, but...
The staff at the Dental and Maxillofacial Department of Bach Mai Hospital are very enthusiastic and highly professional. 👍👍👍 …
The facilities are a bit old, but the doctors are very dedicated.

I've been here before, the quality is good, and the medical team is professional and dedicated.
Big hospital, professional doctor, tooth extraction is like not extraction at all.
I had my wisdom teeth removed here. The quality is unquestionable. Generally speaking, going to the hospital is still the most reassuring.
I had dental treatment and dentures done there. I'm very satisfied with the quality and reputation of the doctors and nurses. I recommend that you go to a large hospital for better treatment.
I was planning to go to the dentist, but after reading people's comments, I'm feeling so confused. Is it possible that a large hospital like BM has so many negative reviews? Hospitals have good and bad doctors; if a doctor has a problem, please name them online, specify the details, and whether they are helpful or not. Don't just make general judgments.
Oh. I went for a dental check-up at a private clinic. The consultation fee was 350,000 VND, and a 2D X-ray also cost money. The clinic doesn't offer 3D X-rays; I had to go outside, and they said it would cost around 400,000-600,000 VND. The examination process scared me. The table was rusty, the water tap didn't have mouthwash, and the examination tools weren't sterilized; they were in a metal…

box, lots of them, and each person took one and put it in a tray. I don't know how they cleaned them afterward, but I could smell the metallic taste of the metal in my mouth. I suggest you look for other clinics or hospitals.
The doctors were very professional and caring. The examinations were thorough and there was no haggling like at other clinics.
Excellent service, professional doctors. I had my wisdom tooth extracted under local anesthesia, it was very gentle and I didn't feel any pain at all.
Even after extracting teeth, the root remains and one grows back. I advise you to go to a different clinic. It cost 5 million VND for two teeth, and one grew back.
May 2023. Utterly despicable! Such a pathetic business practice will only lead to starvation.
Just had tooth number 6 extracted on both upper and lower teeth. After 15 days of examination, I still found the tooth root left. I regret having my tooth extracted here. The price is more expensive than the central maxillofacial hospital. Anyone who has dental work or other problems should go to the central hospital for dental examination.
Those doctors are completely incompetent. My mother's tooth still had its pulp intact, but they completely destroyed it and patched it up haphazardly. I wasted 7 million VND and ended up with a damaged tooth. What was healthy has become crippled. I'm incredibly frustrated. Anyone who wants to become crippled should go ahead and try it.
