understand a little of my story. I had the procedures that Dr. Catarina recommended, even though I made it clear that my intention was to take care of my tooth's health and I didn't want anything aesthetic. I was diagnosed with a superficial cavity because a root canal wasn't necessary. And also something on my front tooth that Dr. Catarina, with her numerous arguments, based on her academic background, convinced me was necessary (and not aesthetic) to perform the procedure in addition to treating the cavity. I returned to the clinic on the scheduled date to have the procedures done. I left the dentist's office feeling groggy from the anesthesia. Two days later, I sent a message reporting that everything I ate went into a hole that had formed between my last two teeth. They asked me to return to the office, and Dr. Catarina examined me but did nothing to resolve the issue, saying everything was normal. She simply neglected the hole that remained in my tooth. The discomfort persisted, and unfortunately, I moved to another state, making it impossible to return to the office. I had to go to another dentist in my new city, and she explained that there might have been an error in the tooth restoration procedure that caused this hole between my last teeth. This dentist redid the restoration. This should have been done on my third visit to the Rivas office, when I reported the discomfort, but nothing was done. And even knowing that I was moving to another city, they dismissed me and said it was "normal." I had to pay another dentist to redo my tooth filling, and when I reported this to Rivas, they simply replied (after days) that they couldn't do anything since I wasn't in the state. It was premeditated: they did a bad job and then used the excuse that I had traveled. Even though I went back to the office and they could have redone the filling. So, beware of this office, a rosy world where people are artificially kind to others, all sweetness and light, but they'll just rip you off with mediocre service... quite artificial attitudes like flattery and the sanitized posture of a good professional. I can already imagine the response they'll give to this report. But that's up to each person. I won't go back, I don't recommend them. I paid three times more for bad service, and they still have the nerve to say it was my fault because I moved.
