Four months later, I came to Portugal for the long-awaited day. Upon arrival, I found a superb clinic, with 10* service. Each employee of the institute deserves their due recognition, as the passion they demonstrate for their profession and their patients is simply surreal. My surgery went perfectly with Ms. Carla and Ms. Yasmin always ensuring my comfort and well-being. Thank you to Ms. Julia for her affection and the love she transmits. I can only say a big thank you to all these professionals involved at the Areluna Institute. It was undoubtedly one of the best and biggest decisions of my life. is clinic through TikTok. I was contacted by consultants who encouraged me to travel to Portugal for a complete dental treatment. Before the trip, I was given a quote over the phone, but when I arrived at the clinic, the price was more than triple the initially quoted amount. I was also guaranteed that after the surgery (on the day of the surgery they didn't deliver on their promise, they only did the upper part of my mouth, my nightmare started there) I would only need to return once to have the final fixed prosthesis fitted. However, this did not happen. Instead, a temporary prosthesis was fitted, and I had to make four trips between the Netherlands and Portugal, incurring high financial costs, physical and emotional strain. Even after all these trips, the treatment was not resolved. In the last intervention, the prosthesis was fitted incorrectly, it was crooked, and the dentist had to saw it directly in my mouth in an attempt to correct it. After about a month, the prosthesis is still poorly fitted, causing lesions and pain in my mouth, and the aesthetic result is extremely unsatisfactory, resembling dentures, which does not correspond to the fixed treatment that was promised to me. This whole situation has caused me great psychological distress, anxiety, and frustration, in addition to putting my work at risk due to the several trips I had to make to try to resolve the problem. At this moment, I still do not have an adequate solution for the treatment, despite the very high cost. The clinic is nice and the décor is luxurious. I had a Botox treatment there — the Botox was new and excellent, and the doctor was really good. The only issue is that appointments are very delayed; you go on time but end up waiting for about two hours. Also, the reception girls don’t understand any English at all. When we visited, they were having a celebration with sweets and a lovely atmosphere.
