Update: I had left a 3-star review and given the doctor the benefit of the doubt, but this response leaves much to be desired. 1. They were never able to see my files because they never provided me with the email address to send them to, something I insisted on the day I paid for the appointment, and again half an hour before the appointment. 2. The fact that I'm going into such detail about my case here, when my review was quite general, speaks volumes about their professionalism and patient confidentiality.

I would have to wait several days, and even went so far as to say that 200,000 pesos was "trifles," as if my money and effort were worthless. His attitude was misogynistic, brazen, and disrespectful toward me as a woman; he appeared agitated and angry. Only because I stood up for myself and forced him did he agree to open the account and begin the refund process. If he hadn't, they would surely have stolen the money that, according to him, "is trifles." For the clinic owner to treat a patient this way demonstrates a complete lack of ethics, respect, and professionalism. I do not recommend this place and I deeply regret having had this experience. Here is my response to your comment below. I have been patient since the moment they received my money, and they cannot ignore that. I contacted them responsibly to coordinate appointments, and when the schedule didn't work for me, I requested a refund. That is normal and legitimate. I never questioned the refund processing time—which I know depends on the banks—what I complained about was the disrespectful, misogynistic, and arrogant way they responded to me. They claim I am "not patient" and that it was my fault for not understanding the schedules, when the reality is that the confusion came from their own team, who were incapable of providing clarity or solutions. Instead of acknowledging this, they try to blame me and discredit my opinion. That is not honesty; it is arrogance. The refund has not yet been processed, and in the meantime, the money remains withheld. Furthermore, the same doctor repeatedly told me that “200,000 pesos was nothing.” If it really wasn't, why not return it immediately? That contradiction makes it very clear: the problem isn't the banks, the problem is the lack of respect. And the worst part: anyone can go on Google and see that I'm not the only one. And it's worth clarifying that there are more than a few. Every time someone dares to express a different opinion, they receive the same arrogant response, with a desire to silence them rather than listen. That's the real issue: a doctor incapable of accepting criticism, who confuses authority with mistreatment and honesty with excuses. I'm sharing my experience not out of revenge, but because I know that anyone could have been in my shoes. I paid with confidence, I asked for clarity and respect, and I received the exact opposite: mistreatment, arrogance, and excuses. It's not fair that a patient has to endure humiliation for demanding what is rightfully theirs. I hope my experience helps others avoid the same thing and think twice before placing their trust—and their money—in someone who can't act ethically or humanely. Your comment is invalid. First, you're not patient because the available appointment times didn't coincide with the doctor's office hours. The doctor wasted time that could have been given to a patient who truly needed the service and could have benefited from being seen by a qualified professional. It's worth reiterating that in the WhatsApp conversation, it was made clear that the refund would be processed. Furthermore, an explanation was given regarding the account registration and deposit times, as the account was with a different financial institution than the one we shared. There was neither willingness nor respect shown regarding the demand for a refund and the timeframes involved, which are not directly under our control or the guidelines of a financial institution. Like any business, refunds take time, and everything depends on the bank and its accounting procedures. Nothing is immediate, and the deposited money was not used for anything else, as was disrespectfully insinuated. Regarding the negative comments that have been made, there aren't several, just two, and one of them is from someone who, like you, is NOT a patient. These two comments won't diminish our excellent service to ALL patients; it's just one among many who know the doctor provides outstanding care. We always receive everything positively, and we will provide the necessary clarifications to each patient. When a refund is issued, the same conditions will be explained. Honesty prevails at this institution, and we respect the effort patients make by paying. If they can't proceed, a refund will be issued without hesitation. Your case isn't the first, and no one has ever reacted negatively due to a lack of understanding about the waiting period for a refund. Your comment will not tarnish our excellent treatment of all our patients. We wish you all the best. Patience is a virtue of ethics and respect. It's important to understand that each entity, and even third parties, have specific timelines for each case, and not the immediate needs of someone who paid for a service they ultimately decided not to use, and who was NEVER denied a refund. As soon as we receive a positive response regarding the registration and refund, we will inform you via WhatsApp, as previously indicated. Nothing has been blocked or denied.
I came to Dr. [Name]'s clinic through a coworker who had already had her teeth done there. The process was completed in record time, since I'm from abroad. Everything was excellent.
