I can't even put into words how satisfied I am. It completely changed my life! The whole treatment and services from Dra. Oriana and her staff was wonderful. I got all on 4 bottom jaw and all on 5 on top jaw full dental prosthetic, the first trip we came early and got to enjoy Costa Rica before the surgery to place the titanium posts, I went home with dentures for 5 and a half months. Rude and disrespectful — simple job - quoted $100 over the phone- job not 100% completed took 8 minutes and then tried to charge me $150. The money wasn’t the real issue —- the real issue is the fact that I was called a liar— which can be seen by the “Dr.” response. The same job was $50 at American dental but i decided to go local. You came to your appointment, received the dental treatment we discussed, and refused to pay for the total treatment you knew in advance. Actually, we let you pay less than what we agreed to. n January 2024, they were the most kind and professional group of professionals I have ever worked with. They had a driver (Ronald), pick me up from the airport upon arriving and take me to my one-month apartment in Escazu. Ronald took me to and from every appointment and would even stop if I needed to pick something up at the store. I never needed a car. The dentist Dr. Gonzales was the best, upon arrival the first time she explained to me how the entire process was going to work and during the entire dental procedure she never deviated from our schedule. She was so great at explaining things. Dr Gonzales husband managed the business and and they all treated my like family. I was never concerned or worried. In a year or two my wife needs dental work also and I assure you she will be going to Sonria Dental Clinic.
Update: Nov 2023. I just got back from having an implant put in, and had to have a sinus lift before they can place an implant there. Excellent experience! I don’t think that the former patient coordinator had told the dentist about my crown coming loose as she didn’t know about that. I did get a little discount this time and I’m pleased with the work. crown and implant. I do recommend this place highly!! I went there July 2019. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the fact that it is a one patient at a time dental office. I had 3 implants put in and 3 cavities filled. Fillings are the same price in the states. I went back in Jan to have the crowns put in the implants. I also had 9 veneers put on. She had quite a time putting in the last crown and when I looked in the mirror it was crooked and leaning inwards. I asked her about it and she just stated that "she" had a molar that did that too and even with braces it didn't fix it. Not sure what that had to do with me, but it didn't feel right. I flew home to Florida and as a singer/Musician I had many gigs. After a show 2 weeks back home on a Saturday night that crown felt loose. Sure enough it came completely off the screw. Had to go to an emergency dentist. They didn't have the correct tool. I ended up going to 2 more dentists, one wanting $700 (crazy) and found one who put it back on for $340. Now it's straight. All in all I believe that she is a good dentist, but doesn't have enough experience to be dealing with implants. Veneers look great. Howard, the patient coordinator is fantastic and even got back with me after that Saturday nite gig. Of course I could've down back at my expense, but why would I do that?
I had an exceptional experience with this dentist! The doctor's talent is evident in the incredible work on my 20 veneers. The price was fantastic, and the quality rivals, if not surpasses, veneers my family got in the US. These veneers are indistinguishable from natural teeth – impeccable and truly impressive. Highly recommend!

Clinic is beautiful, calming, and has impressive, top-notch technology. Peter was always available prior to my visit to answer any questions - I knew I would be in good hands and didn't have any nerves about traveling to Costa Rica for extensive dental work. I've been recommending Sonria to family and friends, and would recommend them to anyone in need of dental work! I can't thank Sonria enough for all that they've done!

and very clean and everyone speaks English. I saved a lot of money that I would have had to pay out of pocket because my dental insurance didn't cover any but a few hundred dollars. So also, yes, you can put in a claim to your insurance for what you're covered for, and Sonria will help you with your claim paperwork. I highly recommend them
