There was a short period when my students asked if I had a lisp, and speaking was tiring for me until my teeth came out and were close to their proper places. Thankfully, after about two and a half years of treatment, my anxiety about "Will my teeth come in?" evolved into "When will these braces come off?", and it's been almost five months since my braces were removed. I met Dr. Selçuk and his team last year. I had started my 4-year orthodontic treatment elsewhere, but at my request and on the doctor's recommendation, we switched to clear aligner treatment and completed it.
