a chic environment not seem intimidating is thanks to how welcoming the people who occupy it are. Rafael manages to turn a process that is generally invasive into a lighthearted moment. I haven't yet developed the ability to give more complex answers than "uh-huh" or "uh-uhm" while having the dental paraphernalia that the job requires in my mouth, so my part of the dialogue is kind of monosyllabic. BUT I'M PRACTICE. In short: I can leave work inevitably disheveled, with my latent social inadequacy and my awful teeth, and I know that when I arrive at the dentist's office they will treat me with dignity, respect, and attention. I know this may sound like the bare minimum, but sometimes human relationships are reduced to monetary transactions and the provision of services. But it doesn't have to be that way. And here, with them, it isn't (actually, it's almost therapeutic!). I highly recommend them.
