Wonderful experience! I am a veteran of dental/medical tourism. I went in for a consultation today with Dra. and team. Very professional studio, very clean and modern. Laureles is such a gem of a neighborhood too. If you are traveling for care, Laureles is safe, peaceful and full of amazing restaurants, culture to keep you occupied. You simply cannot pick a better experience for dental care.

single issue, not a single problem. Every year I return for a full check-up, and the dentist removes and professionally cleans my prosthetic bridges. The level of care, precision, and professionalism is far beyond what I’ve experienced elsewhere. If you are considering any kind of dental work in Medellín especially implants or advanced procedures this is the place to go. Exceptional work, modern technology, and a team that truly cares about long-term results. Not only did I discovered a great dentist in Colombia but I also discovered an awesome city like Medellin. r for any Expat doing their research in terms you can understand. Dental work is like fixing a car. Some shops only change your oil, you want a new radio? You go to a specialized radio shop. You need brakes done, you go to your mechanic. You get the point. But normally there's never a one stop shop for it all. In Medellin there are MANY dental places, some may be only for aesthetics like veneers making your teeth look pleasing to the eyes. Some dental places just do regular dental work cavities and root canals. And some do braces and and others are more serious like surgeries. Dra Johanna Ossa and her team is a ONE STOP SHOP AND THEY DO EVERYTHING! I can't tell you how convenient, happy and the peace of mind I feel knowing whatever the situation is Dra Johanna and her team can handle it. However embarrassing it is to disclose my history, let me list a few things I've gotten done with her team: 1. Braces bottom teeth with Orthodontist 2. 3 Extractions 3. 4 Implants 4. Root canals with Endodontists specialists YES! My teeth were very bad :-( "Were BAD" but not anymore thanks to Johanna and her team! What many people don't know about Dra Johanna is she specializes in oral reconstruction and restoration. She does her best to make your teeth look natural and she focuses on making you healthy FIRST then afterwards working on Aesthetics. I think thats important, sometimes we as patients can be very impatient and we just want a nice smile NOW! So many doctors in Colombia will just take your money and make your teeth look nice without even caring if you need a cavity filled, root canal or repair a shattered tooth or if you even have an infection. Overall, as an Expat from Los Angeles and now 3 years living in Medellin I have shopped around but I can honestly say I haven't found anyone better than Dra Johanna Ossa!
I had a very in-depth orthodontic process with them since it was a surgical case... But they finally managed to fix my smile, and in 5 years of the process, I feel like they performed a miracle... Excellent .Top notch service . The office and staff have super friendly & warm feel. Been using them for years. Early on they fixed a root canal that my previous dentist complelely butchered and for tiny fraction of typical U S prices. VERY HIGHLY Recommended

Dr. Johanna is a very good dentist. Her and her staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. In addition her work and expertise is outstanding as well as the other doctors on staff. I have been seeing her for years and she never fails to impress me with her professionalism and bedside manner. All in all you would be missing out on one of the best if not the best dental practice in Colombia.

Day 2- Preparation form an oral surgeon Day 3- Final root canal and restoration Day 4-7 Vacation & Evaluation The clinic was clean, professional, and well-organized. Everything was explained clearly in English, and I felt confident in their technical skills. How It Held Up: Being my first root canal, for the first 6 months, I had some minor pain and mainly chewed on the other side of my mouth. But after that, it fully settled. A year later, I visited a dentist in the U.S. who said, “The molar looks great—but you really should’ve had a crown placed about 6 months ago!” To be fair, Oralimagen did recommend getting a crown after the root canal. I just didn’t fully understand why at the time, and was only there a week. In hindsight, it’s standard practice for molars, and I’m thankful the tooth held so long. I highly recommend Oralimagen. The care was professional, the team was responsive, and the work has absolutely stood the test of time. I'm really grateful for the skilled, affordable care I received. Thank you!
