Fabulous care from the team for an emergency appointment. Being able to book an emergency appointment online gave us peace of mind that the tooth pain could be assessed quickly. When we arrived the reception team were smiley and already had our details in their system. After filling out a form my husband was seen bang on time by his Dentist Fleur. She managed to assess the problem fast and reassure my husband that the problem wasn't a dental abscess. Coming from the UK where seeing an emergency dentist can take a good deal of time the service we had here in Takapuna was top class. When you're confronted with the choice of having an elderly tooth removed.... you can' t just say YES!...Well I was quite attached to that tooth, so I need to ruminate.I ruminated at Lumino ! And then I said ..."let's do it"....And we did.

Every time I go into Lumino I am greeted by the 3 friendly faces of Karen, Monique and Vicki. Nothing is ever too much or too hard for these lovely ladies. Dan is an incredibly kind and talented dentist who has always taken great care of me, and Teena is truly a skilled hygienist. The practice prides itself on honesty and quality care, ensuring I never leave feeling like I have not had the best service. 10/10, highly recommend the team at Lumino Takapuna!

Daniel is the kind of dentist you actually look forward to seeing! I have had a hell of a time over the years with dental treatments over the years....and then i found Daniel! He is kind caring really actually listens. He is skilled and super experienced. He had created an achievable plan for me and been amazing throughout the whole process.

Had an incredible experience at lumino takapuna!, From the moment I walked in Karen who was at reception greeted me and made me feel very welcome and comfortable, we had a wonderful conversation which helped to calm my nerves. I saw Dan in regards to my wisdom tooth which had be causing me grief, he was very welcoming and had a lovely calming presence, we ended up deciding to pull the tooth on the day, my nerves went through the roof! Dan kept me calm by telling me jokes and helping me with my breathing to calm myself down, he kept me well informed with what he was doing and the tooth was out within minutes! For someone who is extremely nervous when it comes to the dentist I could recommend a more incredible practice!! Thank you all so much!!

I am genuinely beaming over the awesome work the delightful team at Lumino Como St has done for me!! Both my mum and I have been with them for years now and for good reason. From reception to the dentist chair, they make every appointment a pleasant experience. Thank you immensely for preserving my smile, and making the pain go away. Also, a mighty big thank you for performing a Christmas miracle for me - slotting me in and getting me fixed up - right before the holidays so I can fully enjoy chewing on all the Christmas yummies! Dr Chris Ferreira is absolutely amazing! He has done absolutely incredible composite bonding work on my tooth, it looks incredible and his passion and expertise are unmatched! Such a kind and interesting guy as well. The team themselves, whether at reception or the dental assistants/hygenists are all extremely warm and caring. 5/5 recommend!!
