During my vacation, my temporary filing fell and i needed it replaced. Dr Nelson was very kind to take me in right away, he listened carefully, assessed the issue and explained the options. Life saver!! I needed an emergency dentist in the evening not being able to chew and eat with a loose implant. The hotel called Dr Nelson and he was able to see me right way. They are a family working together and they they were great and friendly. He was able to help me and fixed my problem so that I could enjoy the rest of my holiday. Very good dentist and so reasonable price!!

Best dentist ever!!! They are 24 hours just be sure to call before arriving. He will meet you there in the middle of the night. Very friendly and fast. Made a bad situation a great experience.

Arrived from UK on Monday lost my teeth protector first night. Appointment made by reception. Due to another issue I missed the appointment but went back. (Best thing I ever did) Very accommodating helpful Genuine nice family and people. Informative professionals and went out there way to help me With another issue also. A pleasure to have met them.
I came in for a cleaning and had 5 cavities taken care of. They were very welcoming and left feeling great.
They charge an exorbitant amount in dollars if you want a receipt. The dentist takes advantage of the fact that I'm a foreigner and refuses to provide a receipt for my health insurance. After threatening to report him to the authorities via WhatsApp, he sent me the receipt for the consultation (1500 Mexican pesos). I reported him to the tax authority anyway. I was seen in an emergency by Dr. Jannay Cisneros for pain caused by my fixed prosthesis coming loose, and I was satisfied with the care.
After a short search our minds were put to rest when we came across Dr Nelson. We visited Dr Nelson yesterday. I called and we was seen very quickly. Professional, clean and very informative. Fixed the problem and gave advice on prevention of the same problem. Conveniently situated 10/10 Gracias!!

I went there in and they looked at me as object to make a money only. They are very expensive and I would not recommend to go there
Two times treated by Dr. Nelson and both amazing experiences! First time I had my wisdom tooth pulled because it got infected just before Christmas!! much so that I got 0 inflammation and 0 pain since day 1 of recovery. He is really patient and extremely delicate. His daughter and his wife are also part of the team , super sweet and welcoming. He doesn't discriminate people and goes out of his way to accommodate all your needs, even drove us home from his office since we didn't come in car. Very attentive and probably the most humane treatment, made an otherwise horrifying experience into an actual great one, I can honestly say I have no fear of dentist anymore :)

Was in Playacar for vacation in February of 2024. After three days of suffering with a tooth, I made the call to Dr Nelson at 9pm on Sunday night and explained my issues. He and his daughter (also a dentist) picked me up from the resort within 30 minutes and brought me to his office which was a couple blocks down. next morning. After returning to the states my normal dentist did X-rays and prepped for a crown. She states that Dr Nelson did an excellent job and gave him a A+ rating. Prices were less than my normal dentist with insurance. If you’re in the area and need something done, I would see Dr Nelson.

Although Dr. Nelson isn't bad at his job, I was left with a very bad taste in my mouth when he charged me 1500 pesos for a cleaning, double the normal price and what he charged my friend who recommended him. He tried to justify his price by saying that he charges more because of his location, but I think it's an exaggeration and an insult to charge more simply for being fair-skinned or…

something. He also said that if I recommended him, he would give me a 100-peso discount on my next appointment, and so on. He actually thinks I'm going to recommend him. He also charged me another 1500 pesos to put some glue on my palate to prevent my bite from being so strong, and since the glue tasted awful, I put it in hot water and it came off that same day. His braces are old and need cleaning. DO NOT GO TO DR. NELSON, and I hope his daughter doesn't continue her father's bad practices.

Good afternoon. The treatment costs were communicated to the person who booked your appointment, and you attended. If you weren't happy with the price, it's ironic that you're making these kinds of comments now. With all due respect, if you can't afford a consultation and cleaning, please let us know, and we'll gladly offer you a discount. We also support our patients financially when they can't afford the treatment costs. We treat hotel staff, the person who sells corn, the security guard, etc. Everyone has the right to dignified care when they need it. I had to see Dr. Nelson due to an emergency. I wrote to him on Sunday morning and received an immediate response. He explained everything to me in detail and really took his time. Without Dr. Nelson, my vacation would have been quite painful. So, once again, a huge thank you to Dr. Nelson and his daughter. ¡Muchas Gracias!
A great team! The doctor is a true professional, very patient, and his explanations are clear, as is his daughter's. I met him during an emergency, and from the very beginning, he was always willing to help. Since then, all my treatments have been with him. 100% recommended.

The doctor helped me through a very painful time, treating me with kindness and great professionalism. During my vacation in Playa del Carmen, I had a problem with two of my teeth that had me screaming in pain.
