I consulted with Dr. Rima Shrestha regarding a minor issue I had with one of my premolars. She's a very calm, patient and empathetic doctor with sublime dentistry skills. I would like to appreciate the effort put in by Dr. Evan in approaching and treating his patients. He is patient oriented throughout the process of evaluation and treatment. He was efficient and emphatic because he performed 3 tooth fillings, scaling and flossing within an hour which would normally take about 3 hours as it was pretty bad. I had my baggage lost, including my retainers. I went here because I care about my teeth and want to keep them straight even while on vacation. I was leaving Kathmandu quickly next day to go trekking. They were able to get me in, and with my paying more, they delivered to my hotel (same day). it doesn't fit and won't slide all the way on. It also feels like it is pressing my left teeth in slightly. You can see in the picture that it clearly doesn't fit. The bottom one does fit correctly. However, my retainers were more expensive than other local options (7000 NPR vs 5000 NPR - couldn't get it done same day, would be next day. Oddly enough it is more expensive than USA!), it is essentially worthless, I wasted an hour+ of my time, and I don't have time to get a correct replacement. So two stars, but should probably be 1 star, because I spent 7500 RS to get 1 / 2 retainers done correctly, the other will be going into the garbage :/

Dear Jonathan, We are sorry for the trouble that was caused because of your retainers. We would just like to clarify that with any dental work related with the laboratory there can always be some discrepancies, plus when it is done under a tight time frame it can be difficult to sometimes get desired result. We are sorry that the treatment you received was not up to the standard. If you have the time after your trek we can still provide you with the new upper retainer. Lastly the prices may vary among clinics depending on the material that is used for the retainer and also the time frame. Once again we are sorry for the inconvenience.
Dr. Evan Manandhar was patient to listen to my tooth ailments and quick to provide a remedy for the same. I'd gladly recommend Dent Inn for their prompt diagnosis and the warmth of their service.

I'm not a big fan of dentists but Dr Evan was great! He took his time in explaining all the procedures and i felt really relaxed the whole time. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would really recommend this high standard clinic.

Amazing service. The clinic is very clean with modern facilities and friendly doctors and staff . It's also very simple to make an appointment, just call the clinic and the friendly staff will help you. They take credit card payments as well.

ly happy. I am just sharing my experience. Mixed observation. It doesn't look like a normal dentist clinic. So even if you have pain in your teeth you won't feel stress. Waiting room is calming and receptionist is friendly. I consulted with two doctors and both of them explained very nicely. I went there to extract my wisdom teeth. Due to the swelling I was told to continue medication for couple more days and if it doesn't work I need to be admitted in hospital and give antibiotics through IV. I didn't like the fact that they don't have the basic equipment for giving IV. I can understand they can't do OPG but I had to search another dentist for further treatment. So this place is for people to do basic dental work and if complications occurs you will have to search for other options which isn't cool.

Regarding your concern about our setup we would like to clarify that our establishment is a standard private dental clinic. The doctors had referred you to the hospital if the oral antibiotics that you were taking did not work which is a medical emergency. A basic IV set up in most places around the world is only available in a 'hospital' setting as there are specific norms and rules that need to be followed in our country for clinical set ups.

n so much pain, i explained to him about my problems and he started treatment immediately. During my RCT treatments at Dent Inn there wasnt a single pain.. Slightly yes but not that i had heard so much about the RCT treatment pains.. It was minor normal.. The whole process went smooth like i never could have imagined. Dr. Evan and his team were so supportive and made me feel very comfortable at every single moment. Now i go for regular check ups with my husband.. Great clinic.. Great team of doctors. spacious. Everybody is super nice. She uses the same Equipment, materials and processes we use in the US, is super professional and extremely thorough. Ever felt like your dentist doesn’t have much time for you? You will never feel that way in this office. Last year, Dr Shahita replaced my old filling that cracked. She went to great lengths to take out just the old filling and preserve the original tooth structure and then put many many thin layers of the filling material, not just couple as is normal in the US. I left her office impressed. I realize this may sound like a paid advertisement but it is not. Trust me, this dentist is fantastic and you will be happy you came to her office whether with urgent issues or simple exam and dental cleaning. I can only highly recommend.

I was disappointed with my teeth cleaning performed by Dr. Rima Shrestha. First, there was no preliminary examination of my teeth and gums to assess the situation (e.g., pocket depths, etc.), including finding out where my teeth are sensitive (which I indicated on the registration form), before beginning the procedure. as not supplemented by using the manual scaler and flossing to catch any remaining issues. I told Dr. Shrestha that I can still feel the plaque along my gum lines (and the itching gums - an indication of an issue). She insisted that she caught everything, but when she tried to show me with the gap between two teeth, she actually admitted that she found a missed spot. Instead of doing a further check throughout my mouth to make sure nothing else was overlooked, she just left it like that. There was not even an offer of a small cup of mouthwash, or refill of water, to rinse my mouth. Having been to enough dental cleanings, working with dentists, and my sister also being a dental hygienist, I know that a proper job was not done. She said that there was not much tartar, etc. and I declined having my teeth polished. The procedure took less than 15mins. Yet she charged me in the mid-range cost for cleaning. Simply inconsistent logic. While I understand that the fees are lower in developing countries (and for the purpose of dental tourism), quality should still not be compromised. We are, after all, dealing with our health -- and dentists insist that oral health has serious impacts. And we are expecting a certain standard offered by professional fields.
