I found the clinic here and immediately called, describing the anguish I was experiencing. From the first appointment, I noticed the difference and the concern in investigating what was happening. Instead of being sent home to wait, she herself scheduled an appointment with a head and neck specialist, ordered tests, and my life was saved. I was diagnosed with advanced Ludwig's angina. The anaerobic bacterial infection was already reaching my chest, and if I had waited another day for drainage surgery, the condition would have progressed to a generalized infection, and I would hardly have survived the ICU. Since then, Dr. Eloá and Dr. Alecio have done much more than their profession requires, and I have felt their care and affection in their treatments and their commitment to my health.
