Overall score
Dana Dental is an established Da Nang clinic with a verifiable team led by Dr. Tuan (honors graduate, Invisalign USA-certified, CBCT-equipped) and confirmed Cone Beam CT and iTero 5D scanner on site. Reviews from international tourists are largely positive and specific, with strong price savings documented on implants and crowns. Red flags include one documented upsell pattern (recommending unnecessary extractions to foreigners), a pricing discrepancy between website and in-chair quotes, and an isolated glove-change hygiene lapse.

I have had my teeth done here many times. The clinic is very nice and clean, with modern equipment. The staff is very enthusiastic and the doctors are highly qualified.
I really liked Dana dental. They gave me 3 fillings and cleaning. All procedures were excellent and at a reasonable price. The doctor was also very attentive Upd: My husband and I have been living in Da Nang for a year now and continue to go to this clinic. My husband had a root canal and a crown placed. I had a filling and a cleaning. Each time, the procedures were excellent, and the doctors…

s are very professional. I highly recommend this clinic.
Everything was great. They cleaned my teeth and treated one deep cavity and five small ones. It took two appointments. The whole thing cost $65.
Great dental hygine! Doctor was very caring. Keep asking me if everything was alright ) very satisfied. Thank you
Great service and quality. Prices and process was clear . great communication on email and super quick response . I removed tooth there and did implant straight away. Highly recommend Dr Tuan , thanks Mr Yen and Tu Anh 👍
Terrible experience! On the first visit, the dentist only did maintenance on the lower braces and completely ignored the upper part, even though there was an open space that needed to be closed. I explained that I was already in the process of using intermaxillary elastics, but he refused to continue, and didn’t even know what they were. On the second month, he suddenly said I needed to extract…

t four wisdom teeth, even though I had no pain, no infection, and absolutely no problems. This was clearly just an attempt to charge for unnecessary and expensive procedures. I have already heard from other foreigners here in Da Nang who faced the exact same situation, so this seems to be a common issue. Instead of properly continuing the treatment, the focus was only on pushing extractions and charging more and more money.

Dear Fonseca, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We sincerely regret that you left our clinic feeling disappointed, and we would like to clarify some important points regarding your treatment. Our dentist did not continue with the braces adjustment because your ceramic braces were broken, and unfortunately, there was nothing further we could do with them in their current condition. Continuing with damaged braces would not only be ineffective but could also cause harm to your teeth. Additionally, your teeth were in very poor condition because of the use of intermaxillary elastics without proper guidance and because of delays in visiting your dentist for follow-ups. Orthodontic treatment requires consistent monitoring to avoid complications, and wearing elastics incorrectly can lead to unintended movement of the teeth. As for your wisdom teeth, our dentist recommended extraction because there were genuine dental concerns that could potentially affect your treatment and oral health. However, the decision to extract them was entirely yours. It was never intended as a trick or an attempt to push unnecessary treatment. We are very sorry if this was not communicated clearly enough during your visits. Our priority is always the well-being of our patients, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve both our communication and care. With respect, Dana Dental Clinic Customer Service Team
The doctor was very friendly, explained things very clearly, and the treatment was very good, all at a reasonable price.
The teeth cleaning was absolutely wonderful. No pain at all, which is a rarity. I'm very pleased. The doctor was pleasant and thorough. I was hesitant at first, but in the end I'm very glad I decided to go. I 100% recommend her.
🌟 Excellent Dental Clinic! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming — and they speak English, which is a huge plus. My wife had a tooth extraction done almost painlessly, and they provided a clear estimate for future prosthetics. Everything was handled very politely and with great enthusiasm. I felt truly cared for. Highly recommended!
I had a bad dental experience in the past, so for many years I was afraid of dentists and avoided visits altogether. At the end of February, I came to Dana Dental — and over the next two months, I became a regular patient. From the very first visit, I was extremely anxious and stressed, but the doctor who treated me (unfortunately, I don’t know his name) was incredibly attentive, calm, and…

nd patient. After just a few appointments, my fear disappeared and I began to fully trust him. During this time, I had a professional cleaning, all cavities treated, old fillings replaced, and even a tooth saved that I thought couldn’t be restored. I also had my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Tuan (the owner of the clinic) carefully removed one of my wisdom teeth and placed two zirconia crowns. Four months later, everything still feels great and trouble-free. Before leaving Da Nang, I returned to the clinic — another doctor (a young woman) replaced two fillings on my front teeth. The result is very aesthetic — now I truly enjoy my smile. Both my husband and I also had preventive cleanings. The clinic is modern, well-equipped, and the staff is polite and professional. Prices are more than reasonable. Thank you, Dana Dental, for your professionalism and care! Thanks to you, I feel happier. Wishing your clinic continued growth and success!
The service here is the most attentive and reassuring I've ever had at any dental clinic I've been to. The space is friendly and clean. I'll recommend it to my family when needed.
The clinic is clean, the staff are friendly, and there's no long wait if you arrive on time. The only downside is that it's a bit far from my house, but it's still worth the trip.
I came here to have my wisdom tooth extracted once. The doctor was enthusiastic and the facility was modern. It didn't hurt at all during the extraction. The doctor kept asking if it hurt. I really like this place. I will come back.
After getting my teeth cleaned, the dentist did not cause any toothache or sensitivity. It was crowded and I did not have to wait long.
Just had a tooth filled here. Although it was a multi-step process, the dentists were dedicated, careful, and gentle (because I am very afraid of pain). Thank you very much to the clinic team!
I had great orthodontic treatment here; the prices were reasonable, the assistants were enthusiastic and friendly, Dr. Tuan was highly skilled, and the equipment was modern.
It’s a very wonderful clinic, the doctor Ms Ngan is the best master of tooth 🦷❤️🙏🏻 I recommended 🙌🏻 …

They did an amazing job cleaning my husband and my teeth! Highly recommend My second visit after six months Very gentle and thorough My go to dentist in Vietnam
I had to see this wonderful doctor while I was traveling through Vietnam. Unfortunately, I had a terrible toothache. So I looked for a dentist. Thank you very much to the wonderful doctor and staff. You helped me a lot. Best regards from Germany.
Today our family was in dana dental. We made the appointment for both of us at the same time, but I was the only one who got an appointment with the doctor. My husband waited for an hour, but they never saw him. We had the appointment for the same time, the clinic confirmed that they could see us at the same time, but they didn't. Unpleasant service. Doctor who made the teeth cleaning for me…

Response from the owner Edited 8 months agoHello, We sincerely apologize for keeping you waiting for more than an hour. You scheduled an appointment via email on May 1st, and we tried to arrange it as soon as possible — on the next day, May 2nd. However, this may have caused us to become overloaded. We deeply value each customer’s time. That said, we prioritize patients who are currently undergoing treatment at our clinic, and some procedures may require additional time to ensure the highest quality of care. We will take note of this and work to improve our appointment scheduling process. Thank you for your feedback!
I had an appointment and was waiting for over an hour, but nobody told me I would need to wait or explained the reason. The administrator was sick - coughing and sneezing - and did nothing to help or explain why I had been waiting for so long. If you are not a local patient I would recommend to choose another clinic.
I was served today and was delighted with the service.
