I deeply regret having to make this post. I'm not doing it for myself or to harm anyone in particular; I simply hope that people who place their trust in this clinic, as I did, don't fall into the same trap. It's my duty as a citizen. There is no human touch at this clinic. They only seem to care about extracting as many wisdom teeth as possible without even taking five minutes to study your…

r individual case. At the first appointment: You won't receive any guidance whatsoever. They'll just extract your wisdom teeth as quickly as possible without even waiting for the anesthesia to take effect. Because of this, I suffered a severe injury to my jaw that has prevented me from eating for three weeks. (In my TMJ muscles) When I tried to go to my follow-up appointment with the doctor, she told me she wasn't available, and I also had to work the following days—because I do respect my clients' individual cases—and I had set aside Wednesday to go. After that, I decided against going to them and went to the EPS (health insurance provider) where they were much kinder and took their time to study my particular case. At the EPS, they advised me to go back to the doctor. However, far from being humane and understanding that I had been suffering from severe headaches for two weeks—without a fever—she decided to tell me it was my fault for having a severe infection. She then proceeded to use her glasses as a lever to force my mouth open, which ended up hurting me even more. Instead of admitting that she had mistreated me, she chose to continue abusing me, not only physically but also verbally, telling me it was my fault when she found food particles the size of a millimeter. That was her only argument. I had to stop the procedure because I realized that she wasn't professional; she was simply intent on hurting me as much as possible. And I, in good faith, had trusted her professionalism. However, I deeply regret it. I had to go back to the EPS (health insurance provider) to find out what to do, and again the treatment was understanding and kind. They told me what kind of exercises I could do, and now I've been able to eat something again since my mouth can finally open. However, I don't know what's wrong with this clinic. I hope no one else has to go through the same thing, and I wish them the best of luck. I hope I never see them again.

Take care of your health and avoid this place, especially if it's with Dr. Lucia. My partner and I have been living through a nightmare for over 16 days since she "treated" him. On Tuesday, July 10th, he wanted to have a wisdom tooth extracted, and she personally scheduled an appointment for him in less than two hours. During the procedure, she told him she would also extract the other one, asking…

for his consent while he was under anesthesia, without even consulting me. By the time I realized what was happening, she had already cut and was extracting the second wisdom tooth, even though he had told her before the appointment that he only wanted the one that was bothering him. (At the end, she told us that there shouldn't be any swelling in about 5 days.) She also told us he had a follow-up appointment on Tuesday, July 17th, even though it wouldn't be necessary because he would be perfectly fine. I told her that was fine and added it to my calendar so we could attend the follow-up. He had many complications the first two days, during which he was supposed to rest. However, because he had such high fevers, she insisted we take him to the clinic. He was too ill to go for a checkup those first two days, so we had to pay for a home nurse to administer antibiotics and diclofenac. The swelling never went down, and after five days, his jaw started to close. She simply said he had to go on Tuesday the 17th so she could remove the stitches because his jaw was clamped shut. We didn't understand why, since the stitches were supposed to be absorbable, and she said he wouldn't have any further complications. (During my own surgery, which I had in another city, I never experienced these kinds of symptoms she described as normal, much less had my jaw clamped shut with stitches.) We agreed to go anyway, even though he couldn't open his jaw, so she could examine him. She then said she wouldn't examine him herself; an assistant would. She told me to call the clinic and schedule an appointment with her, if I wanted. And it's worth remembering that to schedule the extraction in less than two hours, I had to book it myself without going through the clinic. We decided to wait until we could see her because how could an assistant remove the stitches if her jaw opening was less than a centimeter? Her swelling was still the same as the day of the extraction, and she refused to examine it on the 17th, the day we were supposed to have the follow-up appointment. On June 25th, she finally saw us after a total of 15 days on a liquid diet and a lot of pain. I've never seen such abuse of a patient. From the moment he arrived, she did nothing but scold him and tell him it was his fault. She roughly shook his head, and he tried to explain that he couldn't open his jaw, that he had tried therapy and exercises, but that it had only made it closer. She just kept pulling on his head and using the mirror as a lever to force him open it. She herself said she couldn't see the stitches and was searching his gums while he writhed in pain. I begged her to please give him something for the procedure, as it was causing him a lot of pain, but she refused. He couldn't endure more than 15 long minutes of pure physical torture and abuse. We had to leave. His face was even more swollen, and he said it felt like his nerves were being electrocuted after she searched for the stitches and forced his jaw open. When we explained what happened to the health insurance provider, they told us that the proper procedure is to first treat the swelling and any possible infection before examining him without so much pain. We will now begin treatment with the EPS (health insurance provider) so that he can recover, because we only experienced mistreatment from Dr. Lucia and indifference from the clinic. My partner's health is quite deteriorated, and tonight we are just waiting for the medication provided by the EPS to reduce the swelling so we can get a comprehensive scan to confirm the malpractice, because we don't know the bone condition of his jaw, or at least that's what the EPS tells us, since it's not normal that he can't open his mouth after 15 days.

It was a great experience; now my father can finally rest and let us rest too. Congratulations to the doctor for her excellent work.

A warning to the public: This establishment, which is difficult to determine if it's a legitimate clinic, tries to charge you twice for an X-ray that's completely useless. They also attempt to charge for checkups offered by supposed professionals who mistreat patients and don't even know how to take impressions, a fact documented in my medical record. I had a terrible experience and wasted both…

I was recommended this clinic. They placed a series of fillings and replaced my permanent retainer. I was very unhappy with the result. I had to have all the work redone with another dentist!
