Hello, José We find this review, to say the least, unfair, but we don't want to miss the opportunity to publicly explain what happened. In December 2021, you returned to our clinic after a two-year absence. You were given two options to repair your upper arch and chose the one that consisted of a bridge on eight teeth. The dentist who treated you explained that it was essential to replace the missing tooth to provide stability and proper bite distribution. We explained the payment options, as we do with all our patients, and you decided to pay in a single installment because you didn't want to finance the treatment. As you can understand, we don't force anyone to make a payment; on the contrary, we always offer payment plans. Shortly after we delivered the bridge (January 2023), you came in for an emergency with pain in two teeth that had to be extracted. At that very moment, we explained again that if replacing the missing piece was important before, now with two fewer, it was even more crucial. We reiterated that the bridge would fracture because you were overloading it. That same day, we provided you with an estimate, which you declined. In May 2023, everything we had warned you about from the beginning came to pass: you came to the clinic with the bridge fractured due to overloading. Despite everything, we at the clinic did everything we could to replace the bridge under warranty, something we weren't obligated to do since the breakage wasn't caused by malpractice or a manufacturing error on the part of the lab. We replaced the bridge again under "warranty" and warned you that if it happened again, we would no longer be responsible. After this, you've come to the clinic several times for your six-monthly checkups, and on each and every one of them, we've emphasized the importance of replacing your missing teeth. You've ignored everything we've explained and warned you about. At the end of last month, you came back to the clinic as an emergency case again with the bridge fractured. We explained to you once more, for the umpteenth time, everything we've been telling you for years, and you mentioned that if we replaced the bridge a second time at no cost, you would finally get implants...in other words, you were trying to reach some kind of agreement with us. On the one hand, the warranty on that bridge expired in April 2024, and on the other hand, even if it had been under warranty, the bridge would fracture again due to your subsequent missing teeth. I reiterate that everything discussed here has been explained to you on numerous occasions and is documented in your medical record. Regards.
