I called to schedule an initial consultation. I canceled because I wasn't feeling well, and they told me I had to pay in advance. I understand these kinds of procedures and have no problem accepting them, but I didn't understand exactly what they wanted me to pay for. do I find this clarification negligent, given how late it was and how necessary it was before finalizing the service, but I also didn't understand why they were pressuring me for the initial consultation when my problem requires orthodontics, something I already know without anyone having to charge me 45 euros to reconfirm what I already know. I don't know about you, but my problem isn't whether or not I'm charged for the initial consultation. The issue is that they don't tell us upfront because this dental clinic, like many other businesses, relies on these "lack of clarity" as a tactic to increase its clientele. They entice clients to come there, and then inform them of the cost of the service once they arrive. They're counting on the patient to stay and pay out of laziness and to make the most of their time (which the clinic is exploiting), perhaps even after the first visit. I don't know about you, but consumers are already vulnerable enough to telephone scams (which are becoming increasingly common) without clinics trying to build a reputation resorting to such low tactics. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC BECAUSE EVEN WITHOUT SETTING FOOT, I CAN SEE THEIR INTENTIONS BEHIND THESE STRATEGIES OF WITHHOLDING INFORMATION.

Since you had already canceled your visit minutes before the scheduled time, we therefore ask for confirmation and advance payment for the first visit. We hope you understand. We are delighted with the clinic. They resolved a problem caused by another dentist, which we had been dealing with for over a year. I wholeheartedly recommend them; they know how to treat children and help them overcome their fear of going to the dentist.
