Excellent service!! I went in for a root canal and they explained the procedure to me, gave me a quote (the treatment costs the same as with private insurance...you pay the same amount). I highly recommend them because they treat you with experience and professionalism!

t true. I asked to have only the upper tray remade so as not to waste two whole syringes. I asked the price, and the response was, "I don't know, I'll charge you a little" (a big mistake on my part not to insist). They took a new mold, a different shape than the original, without any explanation. When I went to pick it up, they gave me a tray made of a different material, much harder and extremely tight—nothing like the original. When I went to pay, they tried to charge me €150, almost half the price of the entire treatment. When I complained, it became clear (from the looks exchanged between the receptionist and the dental assistant) that they had made a mistake and charged me for a myorelaxant splint that I never asked for, not a whitening splint. Even so, they didn't acknowledge the error and tried to convince me that "it was the same thing," deceiving me. When I told them it was a mistake, the price magically dropped to €80, which clearly shows that they charge based on the person and not according to any clear criteria. When I complained, the treatment was very unpleasant and arrogant; they even yelled at me and told me to leave if I didn't want it. I left without the splint and with two syringes that I won't be able to use, due to errors that weren't mine. Furthermore, they never followed up on how the treatment was progressing; clearly, they are only interested in getting paid, not the patient. I do not recommend them under any circumstances. It's shameful to have such unprofessional staff trying to deceive patients. I checked with another dentist, and a soft mouthguard designed for teeth whitening is not the same as a hard mouthguard for bruxism. They have completely different functions, materials, and uses. Giving a patient a hard mouthguard and saying "it's the same thing" is incorrect and unprofessional, and it makes the whitening treatment ineffective.

Irene, I am deeply sorry for what happened. This situation is completely out of step with the clinic's philosophy and our protocols. After investigating, I've seen that instead of a whitening tray, the lab sent us an Essix retainer. This is a retainer used after orthodontic treatment. These patients use them for whitening treatments, but it is indeed much more rigid, as its purpose is to prevent tooth movement. If you're not used to it, it can be uncomfortable. Clearly, this wasn't what you ordered, so they should have ordered a new tray like the one you originally had and provided you with a quote beforehand. I greatly appreciate your feedback. I have already taken the necessary steps to ensure that something like this doesn't happen again. It was fantastic. I can only express my gratitude for the treatment and the results. The procedure was done on a Friday outside of regular hours, and the fact that the doctor herself called me on Saturday and Sunday for personal follow-up speaks volumes about her professionalism. s time. You know that feeling of being empathized with, telling you about symptoms you haven't even mentioned, and being more concerned about your health than their wallet? Well, that's what happened. A charming doctor who treats you like a family member and advises you from a holistic perspective that leaves you feeling completely at ease. She always has several solutions and sometimes even suggests treatments that are less profitable for the clinic but that she believes are better for you. Oh! And both the ability to do no harm when administering anesthesia and the ability to extract wisdom teeth (here, it's proven that skill is better than strength) are a supernatural power. Years later, I learned that she's also one of the most experienced and highly-regarded implant surgeons in Madrid. It all fits together. Over the years, I've had time to get to know the rest of the medical team (they barely have any rotations), and God creates them and they come together, because, from what I know, apart from being very good people: Nacho, the orthodontist, is head of the orthodontics department at the University; Amanda is one of the best specialists in aesthetics (I've seen some patients she's treated, and the veneer work is incredible to behold); and Cristina is a top specialist in root canals (if Sara is delicate, you can't even imagine Cristina). Added to the quality of the hygienists and receptionists, I can't think of a better place to take care of my teeth and those of my family. In case it helps those of you reading this review, I would say that if (1) you have to undergo a major treatment, don't hesitate and go in to get seen and advised (you can decide where to do it later, but you don't lose anything and you might find the key you're missing) -by the way, if they are good in the office, I'm not even going to mention their willingness to resolve any post-operative doubts, since the surgeon's phone number, unfortunately, is halfway around Arganzuela-; and (2) if you are one of those who are very afraid of the dentist, they are extremely careful, you will leave delighted (it's not like a spa session, but they do everything possible to ensure you have a pleasant time). If the goal is for it to be your family clinic, it will depend on how far you live from it, given that to get a filling you may not need to travel halfway around Madrid (I know that some people do), but that's up to you. Yes, I can tell you, with a 99% chance (I understand there could always be that 1% who, incomprehensibly, don't know how to appreciate them, but that's up to each individual), you'll end up delighted to give yourself the opportunity to try them out, you'll see. And, by the way, as a corollary: I think the price/quality ratio is fantastic. One of my best life decisions.

The final diagnosis, after seeing the emergency dentist, the maxillofacial surgeon, and having an orthopantomogram, is that the anesthetic was injected into an artery, and furthermore, the blood wasn't drained, which caused a hematoma that I still have almost a month later. What all the dentists asked was, "Why is the injection in my cheek and lower jaw?" For a simple filling in tooth #28… This comment is also so that action is taken, or at least you look into it at the clinic, so this doesn't happen to anyone else. I called the clinic a month later and I'm posting this comment now. I'm doing it now because my head is speaking, not my anger, fear, or the helplessness I felt when I went in for a simple filling and came out with a swollen face that lasted two weeks, and I still have a bruise. I don't have to justify myself and I'm not going to waste any more time. I'm attaching some "decent" photos from when I was starting to recover… and please, don't bother replying. You know perfectly well what happened at the clinic; it wasn't a blood vessel that was punctured, it was the artery, in the parotid gland. It cost me a few days off work, antibiotics, two weeks of swelling, and a month of bruising. I have no complaints about Carina's treatment; she has always been kind and attentive. And as I mentioned, Laura and Verónica, the hygienists, were very good. PS: I'm cropping the photos due to personal information. Why didn't I go to the clinic or call those days? Would you go back to where they hurt you? And where did you leave with your face all swollen and they told you it would go away in 3 hours? I don't trust them at all, I'm very scared.

Just to clarify some inaccuracies, in order to perform some dental treatments, we need to inject local anesthesia to block the nerves and make the procedure painless. Blood vessels (veins and arteries) run in the same area where the nerves run, in your case the posterior alveolar nerve with its respective vein and artery. There are rare complications when administering anesthesia. Occasionally, the puncture can injure one of the vessels, whose caliber is less than 2 milliliters. It is impossible to determine their exact location. This causes internal bleeding that will cause mild swelling and hematoma (which coincides with your medical report). This hematoma descends toward the mandibular area due to the force of gravity. What we regret most is not having known your condition until now, because these situations generate a lot of fear and anxiety due to a lack of understanding of the physiological processes and their scope. With the right information, we could have helped you reduce both the symptoms and the uncertainty, but we respect and understand your decision. We appreciate your words about the treatment you received from Carina, Laura, and Verónica. And we are sorry that the medical care did not meet your expectations.
