On June 4th, 2024, you visited our clinic for the extraction of a broken upper left second premolar and scaling, as discussed with Dr. Chloe. The procedure was explained in detail, including the potential need for a surgical approach if complications arose. All costs were also transparently communicated before proceeding. Following the procedure, you experienced significant pain, which we addressed promptly through our WhatsApp communication. We recommended taking painkillers and provided further advice to manage the discomfort. We continued to support you until our clinic's operating hours ended at 8 PM. Despite this, you continued to text us through the night and into the morning, which we were unable to respond to outside of our business hours. The next day, you expressed concerns about a potential infection and mentioned seeking emergency care at Hospital Putrajaya. You also requested compensation for your medical bills, which we declined, as we did not identify any negligence in your treatment. Understanding your concerns, we proposed a follow-up examination at our clinic, which you initially declined. To ensure your peace of mind, we offered a consultation with Dr. Lu, our oral and maxillofacial surgeon, for a second opinion. After some initial hesitation, you agreed to see Dr. Lu, who confirmed that there was no infection. Additional pain relief medicine and gauze to clean the wound were provided, and a follow-up appointment was scheduled on 8/6/2024. We are pleased to know that your concerns were addressed and that the issue was resolved with Dr. Lu's consultation. Our team is committed to patient care and transparency, and we appreciate your cooperation in allowing us to assist you further.
