Today I decided to have my teeth scaled. I haven't had my teeth scaled in 21 years. Does it hurt? Yes, it does, but not unbearably. If you're hesitant, go for it. For your own good, the dentist is very skilled. The scaler is done in no time. All the staff are polite.
I had multiple treatments over a week from Au Dental. The work was excellent, detailed consultation and treatment plan discussed prior with all costs and options explained. Zero pain, very clean and modern equipment. All staff are english speaking and communication is excellent. Cost is excellent. Easy to access in a safe location on Silom Rd.
Had a good experience here. Cleaning was quick, pricing was straightforward and I’d be back.
I highly recommend this clinic, i was in Bangkok for work and i had a strong pain of my tooth caused by an improper filling. This is my go to dentist and has been for a number of years. I highly recommend it. I first went here after a period of not seeing a dentist for years and so had gum problems. Now everything is a lot more stable and both gums and teeth are a lot better, so I can fully recommend if you are looking for a solution of a problem. have a normal scaling. I needed to do it deep into my gums, like scaling the roots...it would hurt. I was so shocked. I almost asked the doctor for an injection because I was afraid of fainting. But in the end, the doctor let me try it without injections first. I tried it on half my mouth at a time to see if I could stand it (the entire lower half). It actually hurt a lot less. The pain was 70% gone compared to the normal scaling in the past, when I had it done by a professor at a well-known university hospital...I was scared and terrified back then...this time I was very impressed. If it were Dr. Thong, I would come for a scaling every 4-6 months just like a normal person. I would come with peace of mind and not have to hypnotize myself. Hahahahaha. From now on, I'll be in your care forever. Edited 07/02/2023 From that day forward, I get my teeth cleaned every six months like any other normal person. It doesn't hurt at all. I'm so happy. My dental phobia is completely gone. Sob! The dentist gave me great dental care advice. I'm addicted to using interdental brushes these days. I used to think just flossing was enough, but now that I've started using interdental brushes, I'm totally hooked. All the food particles and anything that can cause tartar or cavities are completely removed.
The receptionist is friendly and speak English perfectly. The dentists are skilled with wonderful bedside manners. The equipment is modern! Great value!

immediately stained my teeth, so I'd say be careful with non-white foods for at least a week. It's 10.000 baht for an in office Zoom treatment and a personalized at home kit with one Opalescence syringe 15%. Extra is 800 baht per syringe.
