Satisfied, next time you can come again.. Spacious place, only parking is a bit difficult.. weekdays are ok

My first time get treatment from this clinic which first plan only for scaling and air polishing. But during the treatment, the dentist is so detail checking on my teeth and found out there is hole on my tooth. I was totally surprised as I just get my teeth checked in other clinic less than 6 months ago but dentist didn't aware about hole on my tooth.

Went here for scaling, the doctor really explain very well about the condition of my teeth, and suggest to do the necessary for my next appointment. Scaling process doesnt take much time, doctor did it very gentle, make me less nervous. Affordable price with very well experienced doctor. Thank you.

Dr. Thesdave was very professional, explaining my dental condition in detail and discussing treatment options very clearly. I also highly recommend the painless teeth cleaning. Worth a try. The clinic has a great location, right next to KL Sentral.

I was very happy with the services of Astute and all the nice team! The promotion price and communication over WhatsApp are good. I needed three fillings. The dentist told me that I didn't need to be numbed which was true for two of my teeth. The third tooth was extremely painful after the existing filling was removed. I kept pulling away, vocalizing my pain and sobbing in the chair. I was made to feel that my pain was an inconvenience, being told to hold…

d still, that I am being too sensitive, that I don't have a tolerance for pain and just little bit more. There was a lack of empathy. That kind of pain is not possible to hold still for. I am not weak. I suffer through kidney stones without tears. I left here feeling physically and emotionally wrecked. When she finished, I was biting only on the filling. The rest of my teeth weren't able to touch each other. She raised my chair as if she was finished and told me it would work itself out in a few days. I had to insist to get the bite fixed because it was wildly uncomfortable. She did that with impatience and I left still biting primarily on that tooth. Overnight a piece broke off and my bite normalized. I went back the next day (with great hesitation) and she resealed it. More pain and tears shed during this work, and somehow this was my fault. At least I was not charged for the rework. I can't recommend this place for people who struggle to advocate for themselves or for people who can afford to to elsewhere. Edit to provide response to the Dental office's reply (screenshot attached in photos): -> All treatments were performed in accordance with standard clinical protocols, including assessing the need for local anesthesia [Perhaps you need to revisit your protocols as the pain during my visit was unbearable. No one should experience this ever.] -> Pain perception varies between individuals, and ... some sensitivity is expected. [You continue to minimize the pain that I experienced just like you did during the procedure. By referring to it as "some sensitivity," you continue to disregard the level of pain that I have reported to you.] -> especially when working on previously restored or worn teeth. [Should patients come with only pristine teeth? Are you not capable of managing pain for patients with worn out teeth?] -> When you returned the following day, we provided a reassessment at no additional charge. [The new filling broke overnight, I would hope you wouldn't charge to repair it.] -> Our dentist also recommended taking a 3D X-ray to rule out any other causes of pain, but you declined because... [I declined because I had no intention of undergoing more procedures with you. I wanted the broken filling repaired and only that.] -> During both visits, the dentist asked again if you required local anesthesia. [You did not. It is indeed the first thing I asked you about when you started drilling without as I was quite surprised and you told me it wouldn't be unnecessary. Indeed it wasn't necessary for the other two teeth.] -> but there was no clear communication from your end. [I communicated that I was in pain, you just disregarded it. You asked "is it pain or sensitivity' repeatedly I told you it was pain and to be more clear I said "you are hurting me," and you just completely disregarded that and replied, but is it just sensitivity? If my words weren't clear to you, my sobbing, yelping and hyperventilating should have been clues. You seemed more inconvenienced by my pain than concerned and kept pushing me to continue.] -> We remain committed to providing safe, ethical, and patient-focused care. [Then listen and learn from what I am telling you. That was the most traumatizing dental/medical visit of my life and you should put anyone else through thia experience again again.] You never had a word of empathy. You didn't listen, just 100% defensive and trying to make it my fault for being "too sensitive" and having a "worn tooth."

Our dentist also informed you that your lower left tooth was already significantly worn down, exposing the dentin layer, which naturally causes increased sensitivity. Before beginning the procedure, a topical numbing gel was applied, and throughout the treatment the dentist repeatedly checked on you and asked if you were alright. Pain perception varies between individuals, and while we always strive to keep patients comfortable, some sensitivity is expected—especially when working on previously restored or worn teeth. Our team took care to explain each step and respond to your reactions during the procedure. When you returned the following day, we provided a reassessment at no additional charge. Our dentist also recommended taking a 3D X-ray to rule out any other causes of pain, but you declined because you did not have enough time. During both visits, the dentist asked again if you required local anesthesia, but there was no clear communication from your end. We remain committed to providing safe, ethical, and patient-focused care. We would be happy to review you again to address any remaining discomfort or clarify any misunderstandings.

Just got my scaling and whitening done here and had such a good experience. Dr. Thesdave was super gentle and friendly, and the whole process was really comfortable. My teeth feel so clean and the whitening turned out great too. Really happy with the visit! ☺️

Amazing quick service! Messaged via WhatsApp in the morning and had an appointment by 10AM. Would highly recommend for tourists who need emergency dental appointments.
