Great team! The doctor is not only an excellent professional, but also an extremely kind, caring and attentive person. From the first moment you feel calm and in good hands. I have no words to describe Dr. Puyan. I was waited on, even though I was late. The examination was thorough and detailed. I was not rushed. The clinic has modern equipment. Great, polite and smiling. I received human treatment. A rare doctor. They took my money only for the photo without the examination. A bow to such a man and his work!

I need to take a 3D sector photo of my tooth?", my answer was "Do you have 100-200 BGN to spare? Do they give you 100-200 BGN?". I am not consulting a doctor to receive sarcastic insinuations, but reliable information and a professional attitude. • There is no price listed for the initial examination in the drop-down menu in SuperDoc (the actual price was 100lv) • For the 100lv in question, the doctor simply glanced at the panoramic X-ray I had brought, then didn't even check my dental status, but delegated the task to his colleague, while he went into the hallway to talk to my companion. • He told me that my tooth needed to be extracted (correctly), but told me that it needed to be done by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon (incorrectly). • He told me that I needed to take antibiotics before and after the surgery, while three other doctors specified that this was necessary only if there were clear signs of active infection. In the end, the extraction was performed (by another doctor) and I did not need to take antibiotics. • When I asked what strains of probiotics I should consume to reduce the risk of negative consequences of taking antibiotics, Dr. Pouyan said that I could eat yogurt because it contained a type of bacteria (whose name he didn’t know). In fact, there is no good empirical evidence that Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus (the strains in yogurt) can achieve the goal I was looking for. There are two such strains: Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (L. rhamnosus GG) and Saccharomyces boulardii (S. boulardii).

Hello! Thank you for your review. I am glad that there are also positive things in it. I think it is still appropriate to answer you, because I think there was a misunderstanding. If my accent made an unpleasant impression on you, I am truly sorry. So far, I have not had any problems communicating with my patients, but I will still take your remark into account. I am not Bulgarian. I studied Dentistry in Plovdiv and Sofia for 12 years, and then Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery in Bulgarian together with Bulgarian students. I have had very good professors to whom I will be forever grateful. They taught me that medicine knows no borders and nationalities. I have seen patients at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Plovdiv and Sofia with severe complications after the extraction of even a simple tooth (two of them - with a fatal outcome) precisely because they had not taken antibiotics. The health of patients is important to me and I try to protect them from any problems. Therefore, I am of the opinion that a timely antibiotic is better than any complications. Of course, I respect the opinion of my colleagues who are against antibiotics, and it is not right to dispute them. As for the need for a CBCT (3D) scan, I am convinced that in your case there was no need. In the clinic we have modern X-ray equipment for panoramic and 3D scans. There was simply no need to burden you with unnecessary expenses and, most importantly, radiation, since your panoramic scan clearly showed the problem. I have been taught to be honest with people as I would with my closest people. I apologize if this offended you. For extractions, we use 3D when it comes to complex teeth; maxillary molars in case of suspected contact of the roots and the maxillary sinus; wisdom teeth with contact or proximity to the mandibular nerve and the risk of temporary or permanent paresthesia. Fortunately, there was no such problem with you. I respect every patient and would not allow myself to be familiar and always address them in a polite manner.
