They cleaned his teeth then extracted the cracked tooth. The pain was more minimal than the pain he was experiencing prior to the extraction. The care he received was very professional and at an incredible price. I highly recommended taking advantage of this amazing business while visiting the Cabo area. Don’t hesitate.

did not make sense without first taking a new CBCT scan for evaluation. I asked for a new CBCT scan and radiology report from the scan before continuing restoration. I had to wait 4.5 hours in their clinic for them to finally send me the full CBCT scan data after having many reasons as to why they could not give me the full data set. I would not go away so they finally sent a WeTranser. I requested a formal radiology report from the scan, but they would not do this and only sent a treatment plan justification. I then paid for independent review and sent the full CBCT data set to a US board certified maxillofacial radiologist. The findings were 50 % bone loss, which Advanced Cabo Dentistry failed to acknowledge and still will not after reporting this to them. I have requested my complete accurate records rom them so I could do continuing care elsewhere with no response for well over a month. This whole attempt to get full records has been going on for almost 4 months.They finally sent incomplete inaccurate records after I called them. An entire procedure is omitted from the records ( a failed abutment placement attempt by Dr. Eddie in late March of 2025 - he was attempting to place an abutment that was not for a ceramic implant, but for a titanium implant and after 3 injections of anesthesia, a lot of forceful torquing and one of the most painful dental experiences I've ever had, he admitted he was trying to make an abutment for a titanium implant work on my ceramic one. I'm not totally positive he knew my implant was ceramic as he seemed surprised when I told him it was.) The record also reports a procedure in the records summary that never took place in the clinic (extraction). I have requested implant ID (necessary for continuing care in another clinic) in a formal written record form and only get up close pictures of a sticker on a page in a notebook with handwritten notes. I have no idea if these stickers are related to my implant since there is no formal chart note in my file recording this. I have $1800 sitting in my mouth that I cannot get restored at another clinic without complete accurate info. I will be filing a formal complaint with CONAMED in hopes for resolution. Beware. It appears that the clinic is far less professional since the original owner Dr. Thomas Koty passed away in 2023.

and clean office, courteous staff and excellent service! I have had this procedure done 10 years ago in the US and it was not very comfortable during the procedure, with my mouth stretched wide. In this office, I felt no discomfort at all, and no tooth sencitivity after the procedure!

ease the discomfort on the inside of my lip. I did research on Dentists in San José del Cabo and chose Advanced Dentist. My consultation was booked and my ride turn up and transported me to the dentist. On arrival I had forms to fill out, told I'd need exrays I inquired the cost and told free with consultation. I was taken to the treatment room and told before I open my mouth I would need a full mouth of crowns. I explained I only wanted 6 front upper crowns, but she said she'd have to do the bottom teeth as well. After exams and she told me I'd need 16 crowns and a bridge of a missing tooth I had pulled 45 years ago. She took my records to shown the head guy for his opinion whilst I had many photo taken. I then met a other guy who told me they didn't need to do the bridge but had to do 16 crowns for s price of $8900 USD. I said I'd have to think about this as it was more work and cost than I budgeted for, he was very pushy to get me to make an appointments saying I can always cancel. I said I wait and talk it over with my wife first. This is where the mood took a turn for the worse. I was told I'd have to pay $80 USD for the consultation and xrays as it only free If you commit to the treatment, luckily I'd brought my credit card. After paying, no ride back to my lodgings was offered, I didn't have a phone to call a cab so walk about 1 hour in 32C temp back to my lodgings ( I'm nearly 70 year of age). After discussing the treatment plan and cost with my wife we decided to proceed with the treatment. Before I had chance to book the appointment I got a message from Luis from Advanced Dentist saying he had a better option for me. The better option was 16 crowns $6700 USD, I decided to take this option and booked an appointment, and asked for a breakdown on the bill for expenses. After many unanswered messages I finally got a breakdown of the bill, It had changed the type of material the crowns we're going to be made of. I asked Luis about this told him i wanted the same as the original quote ( The one recommended on their website). He said he couldn't do that only the dentist could do that so I'd have to wait until my appointment. By this time I had lost all confidence I Advanced and ask Luis to cancel my appointment, Lous never answered me again to confirm this. Once again I walked to the office and canceled my appointment as Luis hadn't as it turned out I explained to the receptionist my reasons for canceling. A day later I had an email from David Lambarri, He offered no apology but put the misfortune down to Lous their agent being overly eager to get a bigger bonus. He then offered me two options 1) a drop in price to $6760 from the quoted price of $8900 or option 2) $80 refund for xrays and a free cleaning and whitening. By this time I had no trust so I just took the $80 refund. I've now returned to Canada and had the 6 crowns done at my dentist I know I've payed more but I'm 100% happy with the work, material and the peace of mind that any problems i have follow up. Hope this isn't too long winded, but after traveling and staying in Mexico to have the crown, it was very disappointing to return without them. This is NOT a reflection on the work done be Advanced Dentistry as i never got that far. Just that I wasn't pleased to have to barter a price for my teeth. Thanks for reading hope it helps

These issues did not appear immediately; they developed months and years later. The staff were generally pleasant, and the clinic presents well, but in my experience the planning and provisional phase did not function as a true prototype for the final work, and feedback during that stage was not adequately incorporated. For complex cosmetic cases, that step is critical. I would encourage anyone considering extensive restorative or cosmetic work here to ask very detailed questions about provisional approval, occlusal planning, and long-term durability—not just how things look on delivery day. I’m sharing this to provide a long-term perspective that may not be reflected in early reviews.

on vacation for two weeks. I called and they moved some things around and worked me in. From my very first conversation with Enrique (The King of Schedules) for consult to them working out getting my crowns early, every Advanced Team Member was a doll. I had a lot of work done in a very short amount of time and all I can say is do not make a Dentist appointment anywhere else before consulting Advanced first.
