around my schedule. Once I arrived, the experience continued to be excellent. Dr. Genaro did my veneers and I’m really happy with the result. He was calm, skilled, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The whole team was welcoming and professional, and the clinic runs very smoothly. I didn’t stay at the accommodation they offer this time, but knowing how organized and helpful they are, I would absolutely consider staying there next time. I waited for one of my appointments up at the rooftop pool which was very nice and in a quieter location than my hotel. Dental work can feel stressful, but they made the entire experience much easier than I expected. I’m very grateful for the care I received and would definitely recommend A1 Smile Design to anyone considering treatment.

Once we arrived, everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. The staff made us feel comfortable and at ease, which means so much when preparing for a dental procedure. We were provided with thorough information and given multiple options, with everything explained clearly and patiently. We were particularly impressed that a dentist personally assessed me instead of simply reviewing imaging. That level of hands-on evaluation and attentiveness truly stood out to me, especially compared to previous experiences I’ve had elsewhere. Additionally, the staff who assisted us with our suite, Ulysses and Leo, were both so kind and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, the staff, service, and facilities have exceeded my expectations. The environment is clean, organized, and professional, yet warm and welcoming at the same time. So far, I am very impressed and feel confident in the care I am receiving. As a Registered Nurse and the Director of a homecare and hospice company, I am constantly reminding and educating my staff about the importance of customer service, compassion, and patient-centered care. It is not easy to consistently deliver that level of service — but your team has done exactly that. I recognize excellence when I see it, and it has truly been demonstrated here. th should between the upper and lower jaw. There was no stability in my jaw. Could not eat solid foods for weeks. 2. they made a mistake on the color of teeth. Top front six were B3 and the rest of the teeth were B2. It was noticeable and visible on pics and smiling. 3. multiple natural teeth were exposed where the crowns did not cover natural teeth, causing significant sensitivity and pain. I spoke to the manager Jorge who said they would stand by their work and redo the work that needed to be done. So, in August 2025 I met with another dentist who told me ALL the work needed to be redone, identifying even more issues that weren't immediately visible. A1 redid the full mouth restoration a second time. Which meant I went through the entire full mouth restoration twice. When the work was finished the second time, the dentist tried to force me to sign a document that said I was satisfied with the work while I was still anesthetized. I refused. He demanded, I left the clinic. How is this ethical? Having patients sign stating they're satisfied when under the anesthesia?? That is so sketch. The next day once I was no longer anesthetized, 1. my bite was so misaligned I could hardly close my jaw. 2. the color of my teeth were once again mismatched, the top 6 are different shade (B3) than the rest of my teeth (B2). 3. there were several crowns that still exposed my natural teeth (different teeth than the first treatment). AGAIN. Like they just did the exact same thing a second time. I was in so much pain I contacted the clinic reporting my situation and dissatisfaction. The customer service person Daniel would only communicate if I went into the clinic, which I refused to do and requested to communicate through writing. I reached out to the manager, Jorge, multiple times and he did not respond. They then ceased communication in August 2025. I filed a complaint with my credit card company in September. l began leaving public reviews on their Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. Nearly anything I posted was removed within 24 hours. I did not hear from A1 until December 2025 after posting a negative review on Google. The case: since August 2025, I've had to see the dentist multiple times to work on correcting my bite, to include a bite raising appliance to stabilize my bite from the work A1 did. I have multiple infected teeth, and root canals, because the crowns were not placed properly and decay has seeped under and caused infection. Now I also need cavitation surgery to remove the infection that has spread to my jaw. The cost? $50k, and this doesn't even include the six different colored teeth. I have provided A1 with documentation, clinical reports, X-rays, and medically necessary treatment recommendations from an oral surgeon. After months of back and forth, they offered me a 30% refund, which I refused. They actually advised me against the medically necessary treatment recommendations stating they were too invasive. I have been in contact with a medical malpractice attorney in Mexico who is reviewing the case. My two cents take it or leave it: A1 Smile Design is a social media influenced quick fix dental office. Don't be fooled.

Canadians. Half of them were back for their second or third visit, since the work was being done in stages. The waiting room was a social place, everybody seemed happy with the work and their teeth looked great to me. Only issue I saw was that several people had to wait hours to talk to the manager about questions they had. Not sure what the deal was with that, but otherwise 5 star service as advertised.

gradually getting better each day. All is well and I hope I don't need to go back for a while. But if I do, I'll gladly return again.

n the US. For me it was less about the savings and more about the amount of surgical hours this team has performing full dental restorations. I already had prior experience with single implants. This team is fantastic and surpassed my expectations. Dr. Romy is a gem. Jorge is a fair and compassionate medical coordinator. Manuel is a brilliant admin coordinator. Every member of the team is fantastic at their job. I could go on and on. Every department from the admistrative, medical, Leo at the inhouse hotel, the security staff are all very professional and welcoming. Don't mean to leave any names out they are all amazing and very kind. I chose A1 because of their level of expertise. It was a fantastic decision and I intend to return there for future cleanings. After 4 visits they become like extended family that you want to see once a year. I would highly recommend this dental clinic to my friends and family. RV

First problem was that my bite was severely off and very painful. Teeth functionally and visibly did not meet each other the way teeth should in the upper and lower jaw. So there was no stability in my jaw or functional bite. Next, the color of my top six teeth was different; they were B3 and the rest of the teeth were B2. It was noticeable and in vain, when spending that kind of money I expect this to not to be the case. Finally, several natural teeth were exposed where the crowns did not cover natural teeth, causing significant sensitivity and pain. I was not able to eat solid foods for nearly two months. I started to feel really uncomfortable and I immediately got up and left the clinic. The next day once I was no longer anesthetized, I could tell once again that my bite was significantly misaligned. I was absolutely mortified, angry, so many things. I was in so much pain during these treatments, I had to take Advil round the clock. I would wake up in severe pain. I contacted the clinic reporting my situation and dissatisfaction. The customer service person Daniel would only communicate if I went into the clinic, which I refused to do and requested to communicate through writing. I reached out to the manager, Jorge, several times and he did not respond to me. They’ve ceased communication. Since then, I’ve had to see the dentist multiple times to work on correcting my bite, to include getting a bite raising appliance to stabilize my bite from the work A1 did. I also have multiple infected teeth, including all the root canals, because the crowns were not placed properly and decay has seeped underneath and infection has cavitated into my jaw bone. So I now I also need cavitation surgery. All this to the tune of $50k, which doesn’t even include the six different colored teeth since that’s more a vanity issue, but they’d need to be redone too at an additional expense. This was not only the biggest regret of my life, it was quite traumatic to go through this process two times and end up needing further treatment for $50k. And I am so much worse off than where I began. I hope with my story, that at least one person will pause before proceeding with A1. The dentist doing the work to fix all this has added my story to the other horror stories he’s heard from work done in Mexico. Clearly A1 does not follow the oath; Primum non nocere.

Very clean and the service was within minutes. I think I seen 4 people that first visit where they photographed, took molds and 3-d exrays etc. So I don't keep going on... the price was great and the crown looks amazing. Better than one that cost me 5 times as much in Canada. I do have one complaint(or two).. when you go to Mexico for a week, you really only have 5 days. My second appointment was at 8 am Saturday. They changed it to 10 am. No big deal. But when I got out they said the driver was leaving in 10 minutes. And they closed at noon. I walked downstairs and the driver pulled away while I was walking out the door. After an hour and a half of waiting I gave up and took a taxi back to the resort. My appointment on Monday, they changed that to Tuesday which I had an excursion booked for. So didn't go to the follow up. It would have been a super happy, super smooth experience had they not kept changing my appointment and the driver didn't take off without me. 5 stars for the work. 2 stars for the customer not being one bit important after they got paid.
