I've been here a number of times, normally to help my elderly relatives when they need urgent care due to some malady. I cannot stress enough how terrific the nurses and staff here are. They do a great job in what must often be stressful circumstances.

Presented with cellulitis only to be told after a five hour wait in a freezing cold waiting room that I needed to go to ED surely this should have been done at triage!!!!!!!!!! One star is too much

I went in there 29/12, Monday morning. Got there bout 7.45am, and it was getting packed. I had a badly infected foot, so couldn't walk, got partner to line up, pay for, bring wheel chair back. After 20 min, she comes back with wheel chair. I get in and as we make way to entrance, nurse is waiting outside to greet me. Follow me, so we go straight in, through the crowd, to a consultant room waited for doctor. Popped in couple times, had xray, then told l need to go to hospital, she asked if l was ok to get there. All up took about hr. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. They had plenty of time for me and made me feel like l mattered. All up, exceptional service and left very satisfied, and cost $45 with ACC plus $20 for xray. Very much recommend going from my experience

Absolutely worst experience i have a injured leg i was transferred from the hospital with a voucher so they could see me and Xray me faster yet i was unlucky and the Xray department was closed so the Awesome Doctor told me I could come in do one and its up to me if I want her to call me with the results or wait on another Doctor so ofcourse i wanted her to call me because she already checked me up so when i went in the next day first the nurse told me thats not happening they don't allow docters to call patients which is the first time i have hear something so silly in my life then the lady at Xray tried countless attempts to make me pay her and I wasn't having it then later the nurse comes back with an attempt to make me pay again and was not having it then they didn't do the complete Xray and only a small part of my leg so im still at a unknown state but definitely some of the staff needs to be looked at not all i mean the first Doctor was amazing but something to look out for because the money thing was ridiculous and some would just pay and not double check 💔

Would happily give 0 stars if possible. Waited 5 hours to see a doctor for an injury, no complaints however after X Ray’s taken I was told I could leave, just take pain relief everyday until recovered, with no consideration’s on side effects of med or length of the recovery. Asked 4 times for a med cert due to the injury affects work, wouldn’t give me one in the beginning, eventually told me they can give me a week, but turns out to be only 2 days after I called ACC, as I’ve never a copy of the med cert or x ray result as promised. Absolutely shocking as a quick Google research is way more helpful than the advice I’ve been provided here.

If I could give less stars I would. My mum is in her 50's and has been sick with suspected chicken pox. She went in today and was told 1-2 hour wait, paid the fee, and then had to wait 3+ hours. She ended up having to leave for school pickup and they refused to refund her money. Shocking service, they should be ashamed. To be clear, the wait itself is not the issue, healthcare is in crisis right now - but they should not be taking money from people that they haven't helped.

Came in with a very unwell child after leaving another A&E who were busy and wouldn’t even see us!! They let us know there would be a wait but that we’d get triaged. A lovely nurse triaged us quickly and while we had to wait a bit (understandable as was very busy) the nurse who did some tests was wonderful and the Dr we saw was equally great and took the time to explain everything and why we needed to head to the hospital but that they’d let them know to expect us so it would speed things up. Also shout out to the reception staff who were wonderful.

So when did seeing a doc on a sat at A&E cost $150. Spent 4 hours there so got my moneys worth only to see the doc and get a prescription. Only he gave me somebody else’s prescription ???? Good thing I spotted it and went back. OMG could have been taken anything. 🤦‍♂️ …
