Took my 7 year old daughter here after she fell off her bike and chipped a front tooth. We're not based in Hanoi but were visiting family. Dentist was incredible with kids, had a special chair, gave her a sticker, talked her through everything with a little puppet. Did a composite bonding that looks perfect, you cannot see where the chip was. My daughter wasn't traumatized at all, in fact she asked if she could come back for her next check up. From an absolute disaster of a morning to a happy ending. Thank you to whoever was on duty that Saturday in March.

The sterilization, the use of dental dam during the filling procedure (something many clinics skip even in Europe), the quality of the composite work, all very good. Treatment was technically fine, no complaints about the actual dentistry. However my appointment ran significantly behind, almost 50 minutes, and I felt the front desk could have communicated better about the delay. Also the price quoted by email differed slightly from what I was charged on the day (they explained it was because an additional small thing needed doing which was fair, but it should have been confirmed with me before they did it not after). Dentist herself was great, very skilled. Three stars reflects the admin side, the clinical care would be 5.

I'm a Swedish backpacker and to be honest I expected the worst when I had to go to a dentist abroad. A piece of one of my old fillings came out while I was eating peanuts (genius move) and I figured I'd just have to live with it until I got home in 6 weeks.
