Avg. clinic rating

Colombia has become Latin America's most dynamic dental tourism destination, welcoming tens of thousands of international patients annually who save 60-75% on implants, veneers, crowns, and full-mouth rehabilitation. SmileJet has verified 104 clinics across Colombia's four leading hubs: Medellín (45 clinics), Bogotá (34), Cartagena de Indias (13), and Barranquilla (12). Our partner clinics maintain a collective 4.9 average rating across 12,011 patient reviews, with top-rated practices including Déntica by Cristina Suaza, Unidad Odontofacial, and Dora Álvarez Odontología Integral. Colombian dentists train at globally respected schools including the Universidad CES and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and leading clinics use Straumann, Nobel Biocare, and Neodent implants alongside CAD/CAM digital workflows. Direct flight connections from Miami, Houston, New York, and Madrid make Colombia especially convenient for US and European patients, while Colombia's warm climate and rich culture make every trip a genuine holiday. Where the clinics are

Most of the quality concentration in Colombia sits in two to three cities. Each has its own character, its own airport, and its own mix of specialisms. Start by picking the city.

Excellent service, a fantastic experience. They have highly skilled professionals who provided expert advice throughout the entire process. I highly recommend them for any procedures. 10/10 recommended

What's different about dentistry here

The training

Senior clinicians at our Colombia-partner clinics typically hold international fellowships (ICOI, Pankey, Kois) alongside domestic credentials. We verify each one, and link them on every clinic dossier.

The equipment

CBCT, digital impressions, and in-house milling are standard at our top-tier clinics. Materials are imported — Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Ivoclar. Our audits photograph lot numbers and expiration dates.

The logistics

English-speaking coordinators, airport pickup, hotel coordination, and post-op follow-up via WhatsApp are table stakes. If a clinic doesn't do these things, they don't make our list.

The follow-up

We keep touch for 12 months post-treatment. Any clinic that drops communication with a patient for more than 72 hours gets flagged and eventually dropped. Patient support is the one non-negotiable.
