Brazil is a leading Latin American destination for cosmetic dentistry, particularly porcelain veneers, Hollywood-smile makeovers, and aesthetic bonding. SmileJet has verified 25 clinics across Rio de Janeiro (16 clinics) and São Paulo (9 clinics), with a collective 4.7 average rating across 2,260 patient reviews. Top-rated clinics include Clínica Rothier, Dental Clinic Botafogo, and Clínica Sorrio in Rio, and Manhattan Clinic in São Paulo. Brazilian dentists receive internationally recognised training — the University of São Paulo is consistently ranked among the world's top dental schools — and leading clinics pair that expertise with Brazil's distinctive aesthetic sensibility. International patients from the US, Canada, Europe, and neighbouring South American countries save 40-60% on cosmetic and restorative work compared to home-country prices, while enjoying the cultural and coastal attractions of one of South America's most vibrant countries. What's different about dentistry here
The training
Senior clinicians at our Brazil-partner clinics typically hold international fellowships (ICOI, Pankey, Kois) alongside domestic credentials. We verify each one, and link them on every clinic dossier.
The equipment
CBCT, digital impressions, and in-house milling are standard at our top-tier clinics. Materials are imported — Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Ivoclar. Our audits photograph lot numbers and expiration dates.
The logistics
English-speaking coordinators, airport pickup, hotel coordination, and post-op follow-up via WhatsApp are table stakes. If a clinic doesn't do these things, they don't make our list.
The follow-up
We keep touch for 12 months post-treatment. Any clinic that drops communication with a patient for more than 72 hours gets flagged and eventually dropped. Patient support is the one non-negotiable.
