The care of the actual dentists at the Dental Centre is excellent and I honestly cannot fault it. However, the treatment of the reception staff is why I would strongly advise finding an alternative dentist in London, and would go out of my way to not be seen here anymore. Having, on more than one occassion, been told that the dentist is running late and been pushed back by over 20 minutes, I have now been fined for turning up 10 minutes late to my appointment, despite being willing to reschedule. The receptionist that seems to have been there a while is clearly driven by completing transactions and has little to no interest into individual needs or circumstances, pressuring me into paying in advance and paying fines, whilst being hugely manipulative. I find it really insulting that having paid a fair amount of money over the years, I am still hounded for more every time and not being treated with any kindness or respect. I would suggest looking elsewhere for a dentist.

We really appreciate you feedback putting patientsโ interests first is extremely important to us, and hope you do give us a chance to make it right. We also would like to take this chance to comment on yours points: Your appointment was booked at 3:05pm and you did not called us to inform you were running late, if you have done so; we could try to organize with the other patientsโ to help you, you have arrived almost 15 minutes late and your hygiene session was for 30 minutes that means we only had 15 minutes to do your clean and it wouldnโt be fair on you to not have the best treatment we can offer in half session time. The reception team has given you the option to rebook the appointment with the deposit of ยฃ90 which is the cost of your hygiene session and you refused to pay and based on that we do have a clear policy/procedure of short notice cancellation fee or failed to attend appointmentsโ of ยฃ50 and you have received a text message and email that confirms that in writing few days before your appointment to avoid disappointments. Our price structure are based on the services we do provide we do not charge our patientsโ for minutes or hours that they would stay with the dentist or hygienist and you can find more about it on our website as we are very transparent with the fees we charge for all our patientsโ. Iโve watched the reception cameras and I have to disagree with you, the reception team has treated you with respect and professionalism, the fact that you did not have what you wanted does not mean they were rude or disrespectful, and this 1 star review is unfair from your side. On Tuesday 31st May 2022 at 9:30am you had a review appointment booked in with Dr Hussein and you failed to attend and after that we have booked you in for several other appointments and as a gesture of good will we didnโt charge you the ยฃ50 at that time. We would like you to understand that the charged fee, helps us to run efficiently and keep our services at a reasonable level for you. We are the UCL dentists for over 60 years and we are pleased of the practice we built over all these years and the excellent team we have around us, we understand if you do not wish to return to see us again at the practice, however, our door does remain open to you.
