I have been going to this dental clinic for a few years. The past 2 years I have flown from Berlin to visit. I cannot recommend Dr Gallagher enough!! He not only fixed my two teeth (dead nerves which needed a root canal and he internally bleached to bring the colour back), but he always looks after all dental aspects. He gives great advice and really only does what is needed. If youre looking for a dentist you can trust - go here! I will be back for sure. Thank you again!

The clinic excels in service and friendliness but this fails to cover the fact that the actual dentristry is poor. I went at least four times for what were originally minor pain issues on 2 teeth; one escalated to root canal, which was done poorly, and the other they refused to look further into because they had done a filling but I still felt pain. Both issues were fixed when I went to another dentist. On the root canal, the new dentist took one second to say "it cannot stay this way" (the bite was wrong hence food good stuck hence great gum pain - despite me going for a follow-up specifically for the issue and being told everything was fine). On the other tooth, we found the tooth was actually cracked so we had to extract it. The second clinic revealed how outdated the equipment at the British clinic was. Sorry but someone has to say how it is.

I had severe toothache and managed to get an appointment. They had a look at my teeth and decided that one needed a root canal and antibiotics to treat it. They did half the root canal and told me it would be 400euros, half to be paid today and half at my next appointment in a weeks time. I was also prescribed an antibiotic (which cost 11euros). That evening after the numbing wore off, I was in excruciating pain and had to go to the emergency room. However, even what they gave me didn't help. I messaged the British Dental Clinic the next morning and they told me that I could come in again and this appointment would be free. When I arrived the pain was unbearable. They decided to do another root canal in the tooth next to the previous one. I pushed through the pain, but sobbed the whole time. Afterwards I was absolutely exhausted, so I had booked a Cabify home. As it was arriving outside, the receptionist asked how I would like to pay. I said sorry, I was told this appointment would be free as we didn't solve the problem yesterday. Then she said no, as we did another root canal, it will be another 500euros, half today and half at your next appointment. I couldn't believe it. I had to cancel my Cabify, which was already there, and pay the cancellation fee (9 euros). As I am paying, the dentist who did my first root canal comes out and demands that I take an antibiotic there and then, but his assistant, who did my second root canal, tells him I can't as I cannot drink or eat for 30mins after the treatment. She then asks me if I am allergic to Penicillin. I say yes and she says, well stop taking the antibiotics you are taking, as they have Penicillin in them, you should have told us. I said I did, I wrote it on my sign in form when I arrived yesterday. She then continues to blame me and prescribes me another antibiotic. I tell her I already paid for the other ones and took a days worth already. She didn't seem bothered at all that they had given me medication which I am allergic to and had already paid for, nor that they had charged me for a supposedly free appointment. I was so disgusted with the way I was treated that I decided to go to another dentist to finish my root canals. He told me if I had come to him from the beginning, he would have charged me 300euros for the two root canals, one of which he believed didn't even need to be done. In total I spent 775euros on antibiotics I was allergic to, the cabify cancellation fee, new antibiotics and an extra root canal I didn't need. Thank god I decided to stop halfway otherwise it would have been nearly 1000euros. This company charged me the absolute maximum for unnecessary treatments and prescribed me medication I am allergic to. Do not go here, all the latin dental clinics speak English, if that is the only reason you are considering going here. One thing I must mention, is that I asked if I could pay in instalments as I had just lost my job due to Covid, so didn't know how I was going to afford it all. They just said can't you ask your parents and then continued to charge me an absolute fortune whilst I am standing there crying in pain and because I didn't know how I was going to find 900euros for dental work.

Unfortunately, can’t say it’s been a good experience. I had 2 crowns, each €600: the 1st one broke after a couple of months, a piece from it just broke off. Fortunately, they took responsibility and fixed it free of charge, even though this was highly unusual. Then the second one broke after 1,5 years and they won’t fix it. Now I need to replace it with a completely new crown. A crown is supposed to last 10-20 years… Also, they said I had a cavity, bet when I went to a different dentist for a second opinion, after taking an X-ray, she said it was just a stain. They’re all friendly and nice to you at first, but completely change colors when you need them to take responsibly. Would not recommend at all. Edit to their response: another dentist confirmed that the crowns were not put properly - they did not fully cover the teeth, as per the X-ray you saw. I would not call those “my expectations”, that’s a €1200 SCAM. The only valid response would’ve been a refund, because now I have to waste more time (including taking time off work) and money because of your negligence.

I flew in from Las Vegas for a trip and had an appointment booked same day that I had to board a cruise. I was in by 10:45 and out by 1:15pm for a root canal. The procedure went perfectly. Everybody at the office is professional and courteous. Yes, they do speak English very well. I had a infected molar with an abscess and the doctor suggested I save the toothe. I paid 700€ for the same procedure I was quoted $5,600 in the states. I would recommend The British Dental to ANYBODY. The procedure was done within an hour to maybe an hour and a half and was painless. Whenever I’m in Spain, this will be the place I go. They have a client in me! I am sitting in the cruise terminal now happy as can be. 😊 oh and there is a pharmacy a few hundred feet from the dentist to pick up any prescriptions. My antibiotic was only 10€. Thank you soo much!! Oh and you can text them on WhatsApp. That is how i communicated with them.

I was looking for an english dentist and I found British Dental Clinic! They always deliver a clean, fast and professional service. The dentist always explain everything and guides the client through the treatments (especially someone who is deaf like me, is that a big PLUS). I trust fully my dentist since he is also very transparent and honest with me in any way. I was afraid of injections but their way of handling sensitive clients (like me), they really know how to treat the client well. If you are looking for a trustworthy, fast and excellent dentist, who can treat your teeth perfectly...? ...the british dental clinic would be the right spot for you! :)

Alexander and his team responded quickly when I called with severe tooth ache, he discovered I had cracked the tooth meaning eating and drinking anything made direct contact with the nerve. He promptly prepared the tooth and 3 D printed a crown while I waited, the whole procedure took approx two snd a half hours. The nerve took a few days to settle as he explained, this is an extremely good practise with high customer standards and professionalism making you feel at ease straight away, I would highly recommend it.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews as it can impact people’s livelihood but considering the price paid and challenges that I’ve had, it’s hard not to warn people before they decide to spend more then an average BCN salary. After getting a second opinion, it seems that the whole work needs to be done again so I ended up gifting them a lot of money for nothing. I went there through a recommendation as I had a bigger issue and wanted to do it well as this procedure is normally quite pricy plus I added teeth cleaning. People are quite nice and it seems professional but as soon as I completed the treatment and paid €1,700, it became hard to get follow-up appointment and I had to keep spamming them with emails. Initially, teeth cleaning wasn’t done properly so during the follow-up appointment, I ended up paying again for the same work (€50 per tooth) and the original work needed some fixing but I was charged additional €75 for the material for work that was already paid in full. In less then 2 years, I started having issue with one tooth but again, I’m sending emails for about 2 weeks without anyone bothering to confirm an appointment. I got close as they gave me a date and time but after confirming within about 40 mins (people do have jobs), they already gave the spot to someone else (might be decided based on the price/treatment that someone needs, not sure) and I keep sending emails. I had the same work done in Croatia and didn’t have problems for 17 years and here, it hasn’t been even 2 years. For the amount of money spent, I wouldn’t recommend. For a small issue, it’s pricy and for bigger things, it’s hard to get a follow-up appointment since you’ve already paid the biggest part of it, and if you do, you’re still charged extra. It’s better to book a RyanAir flight and do this in Croatia, Poland, Czech,…

Very pleasant dental clinic! Fast and easy communication over whatsapp, and friendly receptionist. The dentist himself was very friendly as well, explained every step of what he was doing, and made it a very comfortable visit. Faire prices as well.
