We had an emergency with our beloved blue heeler Mateo last night. I thought he broke his leg. My husband was at work and here I am with Mateo 47kg screaming in pain at 7pm. I could not get him in the car due to being so heavy. Husband arrives home and we headed to the vet hospital. Our normal vet after hours were not answering and I was now beside myself. Amy from Port Vets answered their oncall vet number immediately. I explained what was happening and she said bring him down as she was already there with another sick doggo . Amy was so lovely to us and she spoke to Mateo just like we do (like a baby!!) and he started to wag his little stumpy tail back at her regardless of his pain. He was given immediate pain relief, xrayed in no time. A miracle for us and him as his foot clicked back into position. Amy asked us to wait around until he came too a bit better as he was struggling with the medication given. What a professional vets and Amy was just lovely and professional. She knows how to talk to the animals! We are now moving all our dogs x 3 to this vets moving forward. Fantastic treatment and Amy is a God send xx

Dr.Kim has been Bowserโs vet for almost 8 years, and I canโt thank her enough for the incredible care and compassion she has shown. She has always gone above and beyond, treating him like her own. Recently, when we had to say goodbye to our sweet boy, Dr. Kim and nurse Kylie handled the home euthanasia with such kindness, respect, and empathy โ it made an unbearably hard day a little gentler. We will always be grateful for their professionalism, warmth, and genuine love for Bowser. Truly the best vet team we could ever ask for and I couldnโt recommend them more highly. โค๏ธ๐พ

Major acl surgery for my bulldog last week. Everything was accommodating, friendly and professional. A late night visit to our dog, staying overnight, with a reassuring text to our worried selves, by the surgeon was beyond expectations. No hesitancy in highly recommending this hospital.

Incorrect information. We were not told about risks. We didn't ask for a liver biopsy to be preformed on our cat. He was discharged with a high temperature and inadequate pain medication. Our beuitiful boy died a slow horrible death 48 hrs after surgery. No contact from the vet doctor at all. Clearly something went wrong in surgery. Save yourself and your pet the trauma we went through and go somewhere else.

I canโt recommend the staff at PMVH any more highly ! Coming from a vet nursing background, in Victoria, I have been so impressed with Dr Chris and all the lovely nurses and reception staff that I have met. All are so professional and kind, and they all have my utmost trust and faith to look after my beautiful Labradors. 4 delicate surgeries so far and Chris has done a superb job. ๐ Thankyou, so reassuring to be a client of yours.
