Dental Clinic Tauranga OMS

I recently attended OMS with Carmel Rogers who had been experiencing months of severe mouth pain. Carmel had been prescribed opiates by her GP which in themselves added to her problems. She was eventually referred to OMS and largely tks to the expertise and dedicated care of Dr Nabeela Ahmed, Carmel is well on the road to recovery. Carmel's case proved to be complicated and on several occasions, despite having very busy clinics, Dr Ahmed always made a point of seeing Carmel on an urgent basis, always ensuring plenty of time for her to travel from Whakatane to Tauranga. Carmel and I cannot speak more highly of the exemplary care and expertise provided by Dr Ahmed. Carmel's journey has been a long and painful one, but her destination is now complete and pain free. Thank you so very much Nabeela. We are greatly indebted to you.

Had a tooth implant done a couple of years ago. They explained the procedure and investigated how it would go for me really thoroughly. Surgery was flawless and I was cared for really well. Very caring service. Highly recommend.

I had both lower wisdom teeth extracted at Tauranga OMS by Dr Abi, and nearly a year later, I’m still struggling with ongoing jaw pain and severe headaches that began after the procedure. When I first sought help from Dr Abi to address my pain and discuss a recovery plan, my concerns were dismissed by saying it was “normal,” with no real guidance or support offered. I tried to raise these issues again recently, but I’ve received the same response, which I find both frustrating and disheartening. Persistent pain a year after surgery is far from normal, and the indifference and lack of empathy I’ve experienced have been incredibly disappointing. About a year ago, I suggested lodging an ACC claim to get the support I needed, but Dr Abi dismissed that idea as well. Recently, I approached my osteopath about the claim, and without any hesitation, they submitted it for me—highlighting the contrast in care. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against going to OMS, as it appears they’re unconcerned with the wellbeing of patients once the surgery is complete and show little interest in post-operative care.

Highly recommend the team at OMS Tauranga. The staff were incredibly kind and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr Nabeela Ahmed and the care was excellent.

Wow. I went in for wisdom teeth removal plus an extra tooth. They were professional, quick working and friendly! I was expecting a VERY sore mouth after, however, was pleasantly surprised when I had next to no pain after my procedure, despite having one of my teeth drilled out. John Bridgeman is great dental surgeon, would highly recommend, especially if you are scared like I was!

We were recommended by our Orthodontist and surgeon JB was amazing. He helped my 8 year old and explained her the process of surgery so well. Nurse who did the scan was wonderful person. Lady at the reception was very helpful. Thanks team.

Cannot recommend this place enough. I have had an impacted wisdom tooth and 3 others extracted today and had the best experience ever. Nabeela was kind and compassionate and I don’t remember a thing from when the IV started until they woke me up when it was all done. I didn’t feel drowsy or sick, and now home resting. I have the worst dental phobia and these guys restored my faith! Highly highly highly recommend them 100/10
