Thank God ! A practice that remembers that happy patients make a practice with a fine reputation. From the receptionist, who made sure I I knew where the toilet was ( it was urgent, and I couldn't concentrate on my registration) to the very welcoming dentist, who explained all aspects of my care. Was expecting that, especially after my last dentist who didn't smile, but waited, tools posed, to inspect my mouth, not giving me a breather to spit , nor checking on my well fare or comfort during sessions . A welcome change - thank you !!

They used to be great, but then they were taken over by Bond Dental. I had a dental emergency (chipped tooth) and needed an emergency appointment. They booked me in with a dentist at another branch (Kings X) and I was happy to attend. I then pre-paid my NHS consultation fee. Except that when I got there, I went through a load of scans and photographs and was then given a hard sell for a ยฃ12,000+ dental treatment plan and then told that they didn't have time to carry out any treatment then and there. They then booked me in for an appointment the next day and asked for a ยฃ100 deposit. I then checked the NHS Dental site and realised that they not only had no right to do that, they shouldn't have taken that deposit nor should they have even tried to sell me that dental treatment plan. At no point was I offered an NHS option even though I very clearly contacted my NHS dentist for treatment. Their argument was that they're a private practice etc. But ofc, they knew better as I was referred there by their NHS wing. I attended the next day for treatment and, after much arguing, I received an almost full refund some days later (they shortchanged me by ยฃ3.50).

Visited to get Crown replaced, treatment plan given on NHS, but they don't charge the NHS rates, you pay for each treatment separately and they want paying up front, Temp Crown came out within one hour ( they had problems getting glue out of dispenser - suspect an old one ), then moved appointment for main crown, so waited 3 weeks for it. Booked in for hygienest due to gum disease, the hygienist then charged another consultation, then the actual fee, I complained got the consultation fee refunded, and they said they cant afford to give treatment against the NHS poster in there practice, and have agreement with NHS for this, so the tier 1,2,3 is meaningless. Booked a second hygienist that they then moved, and then wanted me to pay up front, again against NHS policy. So now moved to another dentist thats more efficient and has transparent charging.

I recently visited Dr. Amrit Kaur for a dental checkup and fillings and I couldnโ€™t be more impressed with the experience. She was patient to listen to my complaints, gave me a lot of time to explain myself and calmly explained me the reason I am having pain and the treatment options available. I decided to go ahead with a filling and the process was not painful at all. I have had unpleasant experiences with dentists in the past, and was very anxious to get a dental treatment done. Dr Kaur turned a nerve-wrecking experience into a positive care. Will definitely recommend her for all future dental treatmentโ€™s especially if you are scared of the dentist.

I love everything about this dental practice - from a very helpful, kind and understanding receptionist to the dentist herself and her assistants. I felt genuinely cared for which is not something can be faked as as patients we instinctively know who is faking it and who is not. One thing though - I asked if I can make monthly payments in advance for the composite binding treatment and was told that such option is not available. I believe the dentist was misinformed on this as on the post-visit questionnaire there was the question about my knowledge of either the financing option or the membership option which by the sound of it would allow to put in the money monthly to afford the treatment (or I may be wrong about this, that is the Membership Plan). So I will definitely look into this as I can't afford paying for composite bonding in one go but would like to save up for it by potentially making monthly payments until I reach the amount needed for this treatment. And if this practice has such option then they are even more remarkable as they already are. Thank You to you all! Ps: The practice is on the 2nd floor of the building, and sometimes the elevator breaks. On such an occasion when I was significantly late due to the climb thanks to the broken elevator the practice didn't cancel my appointment and didn't take away the deposit although they were well within their rights to do so as I was about 15 minutes late. Thus for those who are like me, due to bad joints or heart conditions should call on the day of the appointment to find out the status of the elevator, although I am sure the receptionist would make a call to the client list of the day. I was one of the 1st patients on that day which didn't give time for the admin team to reach out, but was notifying the patient list for that day when I attended and was significantly late.

Dr Sheena Parekh was great, she was very concerned with any pain I was experiencing and explained everything in a very calming way which dealt with any anxiety I was feeling about the procedure. In each appointment, the procedure went very smoothly and was pain free, and I went from being very nervous before the first appointment, to being extremely confident in Dr Parekh's skills and ability and not feeling nervous at all before my other appointments.
