I’ve been seeing Jack for years and I honestly cannot recommend him highly enough. I recently went in with excruciating pain and, as always, he went completely above and beyond to help me. He is incredibly kind, generous with his time, and so reassuring. His knowledge and professionalism are outstanding, and he always explains everything clearly while making sure I’m comfortable. Extremely thorough.
Over the years he has consistently shown how much he genuinely cares about his patients and takes real pride in his work. Thanks to Jack, I’m so grateful for the care I receive every time I visit. If you’re looking for someone who is compassionate, skilled, and truly exceptional, Jack is the absolute best.
I also want to give a special mention to the reception/dental nursing team, Reilly and Helena and Bella. They are incredibly warm, professional and genuinely caring. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel welcome and at ease, and nothing ever seems like too much trouble. Their kindness, efficiency and friendly attitude make the whole experience so much smoother. They are a real credit to the practice.

Marcel is certainly the best dentist that I have ever had, I trust his skillset and know that he has the expertise and knowledge to perform the best work on my teeth.

Really friendly, supportive staff. Recommend to anyone starting their dental journey or just a regular appointment. I get regular cleans twice a year and I also got all four wisdom teeth removed. Specifically recommend the Manuka practice :)

I had multiple teeth extraction done by Dr. Pathak and I’m genuinely impressed with the entire experience. The procedure was completely painless, and Dr. Pathak was extremely proficient and professional throughout. He made sure I was comfortable and explained everything clearly. I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Pathak, had a great experience highly recommend!

I would not recommend this practice.
I got my 3 wisdom teeth removed and paid a very large amount for it. The dentist known as Mr Pathak met with me prior to my procedure and I asked if I could have more pain relief if needed, during the procedure (such as gas). He said yes this was a possibility but that he didn't like doing it as much, as it relaxes the mouth and makes it harder to open. I insisted that I would still like the option on the day, should the procedure become too painful. So, I paid the full deposit the day before, including the pain relief gas.
The next day when I came in for the procedure, there was no debrief, no time to make me feel safe, aware of the procedure and comfortable, (except his wonderful dental assistants oh my gosh, who were so lovely, literally wiping my tears and rubbing my back while I cried.) I was very anxious after receiving the codine, crying and hyperventilating. So, when the procedure began I asked for the gas after they had given me about three needles of codine as I was still feeling the pain of the implements. Dr Pathak said, 'I didn't need it and it makes the mouth harder to open during the procedure'. I continued asking about three times, literally begging, after I realised it was never going to happen, I had to give up and just went through a horrible experience. I felt like I was in a torture chair.
I was rushed out afterwards so they could see another patient. Luckily the receptionist was lovely and they handed me a pamphlet about after care. I was so sick that night with a fever, vomiting and severe stomach pains (which I'm told could be just after-effects of the codine). But honestly, it was just such a traumatic experience. I felt so silenced, so alone and anxious. Dr Pathak absolutely provides no care for his patients and did not provide me with a post extraction consultation.
I did however, see a female dentist at the Smile Sensations in Gungahlin for the post extraction consultation and she was wonderful. Made me feel so comfortable, safe and heard. Asking permission to touch people, do simple tasks in their mouth, explaining the processes you're doing and why and asking if they need breaks goes A LONG WAY!
I have never and will never be returning to Smile Sensations in Manuka.

We’ve been unable to locate your patient file, and as we do not have a clinic in Gungahlin, we hope there may be some mix-up. The experience you’ve described does not reflect the high standard of care we strive to provide.
We’re pleased to hear you found our receptionist and dental assistant supportive. Our team works closely to create a caring and professional environment, and we appreciate your kind words about their efforts. We were also surprised by your comments regarding Dr Pathak, as they do not reflect the communication style we consistently observe in his patient interactions. He is known for his calm and respectful manner, especially when supporting patients through more complex procedures.
Regarding the use of happy gas, there may have been some misunderstanding. Our clinical recommendations are always guided by patient safety. While nitrous oxide can be a helpful option for managing anxiety and discomfort, we generally advise caution when it is used in combination with strong oral medications, as this can increase the likelihood of nausea. This is a standard precaution and not related to mouth or jaw movement.
