Wow! I had a fractured tooth that I thought was going to be ok for a vacation to Portugal. I was wrong. I showed up to the clinic at 0905 with no appointment. the staff was nice, but told me I wouldn't be seen until 1115. As my hotel was a bit of a hike, I asked if i could just hang out in their waiting room and was told that was fine. At 1015, the Dentist came out and got me. I explained the situation and it was decided that the tooth needed to come out. By 1055 I was out the door with one less tooth. If that was the end of the story, it would be great. What's more important is the dentist, in addition to being very kind was also the best dentist I have ever been to. Doctora Filipa has a hand that is smooth like butter. I'm a nurse, and I wish I could be that smooth with injections. The extraction went well and I had very little pain after, which was managed by an nsaid. The last thing to say is the cost was very reasonable (particularly compared to USA standards) and the clinic was spotless (like I said, I'm a nurse, and I know clean). I'm nearly considering taking the time off work to fly back over for the implant. Obrigada Doctora!

On the 12th of last month, I called the clinic to request an urgent visit. They scheduled an appointment with Dr. André for the same afternoon... It was, to say the least, useless. He told me that what I had was inflammation and that I should improve my oral hygiene (he was very skeptical the whole time about the information I gave him about how I did my hygiene and my visits to the dentist). When I had already left the appointment, my mother (who had gone with me) told me to go back and insist with him, because my idea was that I had an infection (the pain I felt was not unfamiliar to me, and the other times I had felt that pain it was due to infection). At my mother's insistence, I went back and told the doctor what I thought, and his response was "the diagnosis I gave you is correct." I did everything he had asked me to do and more, I started brushing my teeth 6 times a day, meticulously and with the products he had told me to use. A week later I was in Spain on vacation, unable to eat, and I had to go to the emergency room, where they gave me antibiotics because I had an infection. The doctor should know that he may have knowledge, but a person knows their own body better than anyone else, and should listen to what people have to say and forget their arrogance for a while. And to the clinic: if I didn't go back because of a complaint, it's because I don't even want to set foot in there again, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve it.

I do not recommend them. Lack of ethics and professionalism!

Unfortunately, I can't say my experience with the clinic was good. - Although they said on the phone the first appointment was free, they did charge it and said the fee would be discounted from future sessions. So, basically, you need to continue with them to benefit from the "discount". - They do work with Medis, but not with Medis Dental. This bit wasn't clear to me from the beginning, but worth taking into account. - On the first consultation, the doctor was pretty helpful and explained the problem to me (an old repair of a tooth). We agreed that I'd continue a treatment with his colleague. - On the second consultation, his colleague mentioned the problem were my wisdom teeth instead and that I would need to see a surgeon instead. In the meantime, he made a small repair of another tooth and dental cleaning. - 150 eur later, I was still unsure on what the problem was, so I decided to go to another clinic for a second opinion. So I asked for the x-rays they took by email, which they never responded. - They also made an invoice without my tax number, which was in my medical record. I also asked for an amendment on this, and I'm still awaiting a response. So, all in all, despite the professionals probably being fine, the overall experience was very upsetting. I never had this kind of experience before, so I think it's worth flagging to potential clients.

Have been a regular patient at the clinic and very happy with the results. Professional, respectful of time, premium locations and great results. Best oral care clinic in town. Highly recommend!

I first came to know the Dentismed clinic because my son broke a tooth in a fall, and I haven't been happier since... Currently, my daughter is getting braces, the professionals are extremely friendly and professional, and the receptionists are fantastic, always very kind and helpful with any questions. I highly recommend them!!!!
