Wow! I had a fractured tooth that I thought was going to be ok for a vacation to Portugal. I was wrong. I showed up to the clinic at 0905 with no appointment. the staff was nice, but told me I wouldn't be seen until 1115. As my hotel was a bit of a hike, I asked if i could just hang out in their waiting room and was told that was fine. At 1015, the Dentist came out and got me. I explained the situation and it was decided that the tooth needed to come out. By 1055 I was out the door with one less tooth. If that was the end of the story, it would be great. What's more important is the dentist, in addition to being very kind was also the best dentist I have ever been to. Doctora Filipa has a hand that is smooth like butter. I'm a nurse, and I wish I could be that smooth with injections. The extraction went well and I had very little pain after, which was managed by an nsaid. The last thing to say is the cost was very reasonable (particularly compared to USA standards) and the clinic was spotless (like I said, I'm a nurse, and I know clean). I'm nearly considering taking the time off work to fly back over for the implant. Obrigada Doctora!
