A complete disaster.
I booked a tooth extraction more than a month in advance. For two weeks before the appointment, I was bombarded daily with confirmation messages, clearly to make sure I didnโt miss it. Then, just three hours before the procedure, I received a call informing me it was cancelled and rescheduled for the next day. No explanation, no apology โ just a new time, as if rescheduling surgery was a minor detail.
I showed up the next day and waited over 30 minutes, only to be seen by a dentist who had no idea who I was or why I was there. After some back and forth, he reviewed my file and told me that the previous diagnosis wasnโt correct and that I now required a different, more expensive treatment.
At no point was I sent pre-op instructions. I later found out I should have started antibiotics beforehand โ something they completely failed to mention. The irony? They had no trouble contacting me every single day to confirm the appointment, but apparently couldnโt be bothered to provide essential medical information.
The whole experience felt rushed, disorganized, and lacking in professionalism. No apology, no concern for the inconvenience caused โ including two wasted days off work and travel expenses. I was left with the clear impression that their priority was keeping the schedule full, not providing proper care or communication.
I strongly advise others to be cautious. A clinic that doesnโt communicate properly, misdiagnoses patients, and leaves them uninformed about essential treatment steps is not one I can recommend.

Very very happy with my Appointment today with Dr. Niels, the process went very well and Dr. Niels was very thorough with explaining everything he was going to do today before he began. He also made sure I was doing okay throughout, which had me feeling calm and relaxed the entire time.
Dr. Niels also made sure I was aware of any further treatment and was thoughtful with taking my concerns into consideration. He explained all possible approaches to future work in a simple way to make sure I understood, all whilst keeping a kind and respectable manner.
Dr. Niels is amazing, I definitely would recommend his expertise and experience for any work to be done, I am one (Iโm sure of many) satisfied patient.

Review: Bupa Dental Toowoomba โ Exceptional Care and Communication
I had a fantastic experience at Bupa Dental Toowoomba. Dr. Niua was outstandingโhis communication throughout my teeth extractions was excellent. He guided me through every step of the process, ensuring I was comfortable and always checking that I was okay. His professionalism and reassurance made a potentially stressful procedure much easier.
The dental assistant and admin staff were just as wonderfulโfriendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease in their care. The practice itself is in a great location, with excellent facilities that add to the overall comfort of the experience.
Bupa Dental Toowoomba truly stands out as a welcoming and professional dental practice. If youโre looking for a place where the staff genuinely care about your experience, I highly recommend them!

From my first phone call to Bupa Dental Toowoomba my journey with them has been nothing like any other dental experience Iโve had.
Iโm a 70 year old male, and have been in and out of dental surgeries since I knocked out my front teeth when I was 8 years old.
From that point my painful dislike for a dentist has carried through all of my adult life, having everything from dentures, root canal, crowns to heaps of extractions you can appreciate why Iโm nervous on visiting a dentist.
To add to my hurt pain has been a huge financial burden even with private health insurance over the years.
Time had come when I lost my last bottom chewing tooth, that had cost me a fortune having root canal work on it only a couple of years prior, came time for me to look at having a bottom denture made, so I could chew meat again instead of swallowing it whole.
After being quoted a price from another dentist in Toowoomba I thought a second opinion might be best as it seems expensive to me.
As I have been going to a dentist close to home I didnโt realise that Bupa had their own clinic, until I went into the Bupa Shop in Grand Central and they told me as a member I would have better benefit going direct to them.
Now the good part.
On ringing Bupa Dental I was answered by a very present and happy sounding lady who took her time in finding out from me exactly what my needs were.
She had put me to ease with her approach, and having empathy with my situation.
She told me that the clinic has a dentist that specialises in cosmetic and denture construction.
The receptionist made a booking for me to meet Doctor Zac Taylor to sit down with him and look at what I required and for him to see what was best for me.
I had to wait a couple of weeks to see him and as I sat in the waiting room out came this fellow with a big smile and asked for me, I stood up and the met me with a hand shake and asked me into his room.
I was so overwhelmed in the way he greeted me that I felt comfortable with him already, as I sat in the chair he pulled up a chair for himself and we chatted for ages on what was available to me.
After taking photos of my mouth, I was finished for my first session and my nerves and apprehension had gone.
Returning on my second appointment Dr Zac had a computer generated view of my mouth and three different dentures that I could have.
Dr Zac had three different ways I could go with pricing, to match
With my mind made up it all started to happen.
Once which way I would go, over the next three visits consisting of impressions and test fittings, and all through this process Zac was like no other dentist with his communication and caring for me.
To finally the big day came with Dr Zac inserting my new set of teeth it was like a hand in a glove.
My whole experience with Bupa Dental Toowoomba has been the most pleasent, I have ever experienced.

Iโve seen Dr Mallaz Najmi-Beauchamp a few times now & he is great. I had to get a numbing needle last time & I didnโt even feel it. The staff are professional. They are hard to get into due to being booked out I imagine, but definitely my only dentist from here on out.

I left after waiting for half an hour after my appointment time with no explanation or apology and received terrible customer service and bad attitude from the girl at the reception desk.
Very disappointed and will not return

I highly recommend Dr Mallaz Najmi-Beauchamp. He was personable and explained things well and made going to the dentist a nicer experience.

Overall my experience with Bupa Dental is quite good. The dentists and hygienists are friendly and professional and do a really good job cleaning my teeth and addressing any issues. The only issue is if you need to rebook an appointment it can be difficult as availability is limited less than a couple months in advance and one time my appointment was cancelled because the scheduled hygienist was sick and I couldn't get in until six weeks later.

Excellent range of dental services, a preferred provider for BUPA fund members, undercover parking, disability access, lift to first floor location, comfortable setting.
