Why Choose Dental Centre in Tbilisi?

Tbilisi dental practice in the Saburtalo district providing general, restorative, and cosmetic dental care to patients across the Georgian capital.

Dental Centre is a dental practice located in the Saburtalo district of Tbilisi, Georgia. Serving patients in one of Tbilisi's most populated and centrally located residential and commercial areas, the clinic provides a range of dental services from routine preventive care to restorative and cosmetic treatments. Saburtalo is a well-connected district with good transport links across Tbilisi, making the clinic accessible to patients from across the city as well as to international visitors staying in nearby hotels and guesthouses.

Georgia's capital offers a growing number of quality dental practices as the country has positioned itself as an emerging dental tourism destination. Patients from across Europe and the broader region travel to Tbilisi to access professional-standard dental treatment at costs that are dramatically lower than those in Western Europe or North America. The combination of trained and often internationally educated dental professionals, modern equipment, and favorable pricing has made Tbilisi an increasingly viable alternative to expensive home-country dental care for many international patients.

General and Preventive Dentistry

Dental Centre provides the general dental care that forms the foundation of long-term oral health for patients of all ages. Professional dental cleaning removes the hardened plaque deposits (tartar or calculus) that accumulate on tooth surfaces and below the gum line over time, preventing the development of decay and gum disease in areas that regular brushing cannot effectively clean. Routine dental examinations allow the team to identify developing problems early, when they can be treated with minimal intervention and cost.

Patient education and oral hygiene instruction help patients maintain good home care practices between professional visits. Advice on brushing technique, interdental cleaning, and dietary factors affecting dental health supports the long-term effectiveness of any professional care the patient receives. Fluoride applications can be offered to patients at elevated risk of decay, strengthening enamel and reducing its susceptibility to acid erosion.

Restorative Dentistry

Restorative care at Dental Centre addresses the spectrum of damage and disease that affects the teeth over time. Tooth-colored composite resin fillings treat cavities while preserving the natural appearance of the tooth, bonding directly to the prepared tooth surface to restore its original contour. For teeth with more substantial damage, ceramic or porcelain-fused dental crowns restore full tooth coverage, protecting weakened tooth structure and restoring the ability to chew comfortably.

Endodontic treatment (root canal therapy) is performed when the inner pulp of the tooth has become infected or inflamed, removing the affected tissue and sealing the root canal system to eliminate the infection and prevent its recurrence. After root canal treatment, the tooth is restored with a crown to protect it from fracture. This approach preserves the natural tooth in the jaw, which is clinically preferable to extraction in most cases, as it maintains bone support and avoids the additional cost of tooth replacement.

Dental Implants

Dental implants replace missing teeth with a permanent, fixed solution that closely mimics the function and appearance of a natural tooth. The titanium implant fixture is placed into the jawbone where the missing tooth's root once was, and over a healing period it integrates with the surrounding bone through osseointegration. A custom-made crown is then attached to complete the restoration. Unlike conventional bridges, implants do not require the modification of adjacent healthy teeth. Unlike removable dentures, they are stable, fixed in position, and do not require adhesives or removal for cleaning. For patients who have lost multiple teeth, implant-supported bridges or prostheses provide fixed solutions across several adjacent spaces.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dental treatments improve the aesthetic appearance of the smile by addressing the discolorations, chips, gaps, and surface imperfections that many patients find affect their confidence. Professional teeth whitening uses clinical-grade bleaching agents to brighten discolored enamel, achieving more consistent and longer-lasting results than home whitening kits. Dental veneers are thin shells of ceramic or composite material bonded to the front surface of the teeth, correcting a wider range of aesthetic concerns including severe staining, chips, minor misalignment, and irregular tooth shapes. Composite bonding applies tooth-colored resin directly to the tooth surface to correct smaller imperfections in a single appointment.

Aesthetic treatment planning takes into account the patient's existing dental characteristics, their facial proportions, and their specific cosmetic goals, with the aim of achieving improvements that look natural and complement the overall appearance rather than appearing artificial or overly uniform.

Orthodontics

Orthodontic treatment addresses misaligned teeth and bite problems, progressively moving teeth into the correct position through the controlled application of force over time. Fixed orthodontic appliances provide reliable and precise tooth movement across a broad range of case complexities. Properly aligned teeth are easier to keep clean, reduce the risk of uneven wear, and create the optimal foundation for cosmetic or prosthetic work that follows. Orthodontic patients receive detailed treatment plans and regular monitoring appointments throughout the active treatment phase.

Oral Surgery

Oral surgical services include the extraction of damaged, decayed, or impacted teeth that cannot be preserved through restorative or endodontic means. Wisdom tooth removal is a commonly performed surgical procedure, particularly for impacted lower wisdom teeth that cause pain, infection, or damage to adjacent teeth. The clinic approaches extraction conservatively, pursuing tooth-preserving options wherever clinically viable before recommending removal.

Located in Tbilisi's Saburtalo district, Dental Centre serves patients from the local community and from across the Georgian capital, providing professional dental care in an accessible and centrally located setting. For international visitors considering dental treatment in Georgia, the clinic offers convenient access to quality oral healthcare in one of Tbilisi's most active and well-connected neighborhoods.

I needed a filling, but Dr. Tamari couldn't do it properly. The next time I came in, complaining of food getting stuck and floss breaking, she simply filed it down with sandpaper, which has been causing pain ever since. To top it off, they damaged the adjacent tooth, which I didn't notice right away; she tapped it with some instrument, and now it's chipped.

Today I went to have my wisdom tooth removed. It wasn't a very easy operation, but thanks to Dr. Dima, he removed it so easily in a maximum of 10 minutes. I didn't feel anything at all except for the pricking of the needle... He is a professional in his field and, most importantly, knows how to approach a patient, even someone as timid and panicky as I am 😁 Thank you very much and I highly recommend him ✨

They kept us waiting for too long, the doctor gave a one-hour lecture to the patient, and it took over 3 hours to discharge two patients 😀 …

They're cheating me with my insurance and demanding I transfer money to my personal accounts! The wait time is incredibly long, and the quality of the appointment isn't always high! A big plus is the 24/7 service and the fact that there are decent doctors on the all-male staff!
